You know some of these subtleties after thousand upon thousands hours playing this game and noticing exceptional reoccurring patterns a good handful of times. (Also supersonic isn't one specific max speed, it's roughly upward of 79-80kph, max supersonic speed being about 81kph)
Demos' science goes into way more depth than this but I'd rather not write a whole essay in a comment section.

@@jkman10 As Johnny said in his video here, Zen does not do anything more complicated than is required to score a goal. He is one of the best in the world at taking advtange of positional mistakes and finding open nets. The better you are at RL the more ''open nets'' you will find. Hope that makes sense.
I noticed you didnt mention Nwpo in the list 6-12. He carried R1 in Copenhagen imo, and definitely should be considered in the conversation of best player rn

I'm interested in how he'll look next regional, all the more so since radosin seems to be doing better and alpha looks like his usual self

Disagree, I got rises performance, Zens performance against G2 and juicy easily ahead. You could also take Dan and beast mode, AppJack against gentle mates, and his brother killers over him.

There are just so many good players, and all in their own rights. Zen definitely is a player so fun to look at and very measured he will be challenging the top for a good while.
worth mentioning that "latinalover92" is actually Parka, he has two tied 5th places in RLCS EU Regionals (X Winter with WOO and 22-23 Winter with FUFAXDOP)
In my opinion, what makes zen so great is not only his control but also his ability to catch his opponents of guard. Incredible stuff.

Thank you for mentioning Daniel lol. I feel like he gets lost in the shuffle by so many people and it’s mind boggling to me. My top 4 is Vatira, Zen, Daniel, RW9 because they are absolutely elite offensively and defensively.

Nass still have to prove himself (I'm talking about RLCS). Nwpo is up there, same as dralii, Monkey Moon, Dan, Beastmode, FK, Lostt, Yanxnz, Rise and probably some others I'm forgetting. As I said, it's super tough to choose a top 5, someone has to be left out.
Tbh I always thought Nwpo to be the best in mena, but as long as his teams performs this poorly it's hard to put him high. It's true that he was the clear best, but it could also be his fault if the teammates don't perform. I hope R1 will do a step up with Venom
@@spacefr584 coming from a big fan of dralii and Nass, I disagree. Nwpo deserves a spot for sure tho. Nass has been performing great but he hasn't been anywhere near top 5 in 3s, considering he didn't even make major. Dralii is doing insanely good on BDS considering it's his debut season, being on par with the beasts that are with exotiik and MM, but he isnt better than them imo. so I'd put MM above him.

@@HerrSchmitti first I've ever seen that, also didn't look like he was going physically that fast so I still press x to doubt... also seen him respawn a large boost pad about 1-2 seconds after Rise picked it up (intentionally stopping and waiting as if he knew it was coming back sooner than it should've), and then use said boost so that ain't no graphic error (different random video, can link if you wish). Too much shady shit happening with hacks for me to just blindly believe the cope excuses sorry (Zen is no stranger to cheating in rlcs either.... he was an illegal underage sub for Space Knights)

It sounds insane to say but I think an issue zen has is he can cause his teammates issues in defence. More of a rotational/panic thing I think. There were multiple times in the regional though where he came back ball side had a quick turn and cut off either alpha or rado who had an easy ball.

For anyone wondering, I know there's no NA or outside of EU, but I haven't seen enough evidence of them to be placed above these 5, however my 5-10 has a lot more diversity with regions, but Seikoo is an elite player who has elevated any team he's on, puts them in conversations to win things, even on a leftover squad he managed to help them win so that's why he's above vati and atow, and monkey is still that world champion from a couple years back, but it's just he's had to adapt to a different team almost every split it feels like, but he's worthy I think of being higher than 5, but right now the others I think are better
Zen is definitely the best player in the world, it’s very clear just watching him

As a long standing GC and Comp fan I watched every series of every major live and then post. Vati was not top 5 at the major unfortunately. Many series including the playoffs Vati looked like the clear 3rd best player.
Honorable mentions for top 5 at the major are Saikoo, Beastmode, Atow, Itachi
Vatira was more like the 13th best player at that major. People are just afraid to rate him that low because they know how good he can be. I think it was just a bad performance for him though and he will be back to the top 5 next major

@@Shapiritito honestly I agree with all of this but I’d rank rw9 a bit higher. I think if they made the choice (bad choice) to put rw9 as first man he could be as great or better in that position but the fact that he is still insane as third man while being a brick wall is underrated. He might be the only person in the game that can always save air dribble bumps. And when it’s a 1v1 situation people give advantage to the attacker because with so many mechanics it’s not that hard to get past one person. Really only in rw9’s case it’s assumed 1v1 situations will have the advantage on defense
I think Nwpo is so underrated. And easily top 3 right now. Coppenhagen Major really proved that he is outshining in his performance
