地味だけど印象に残る本当に良い映画だった。音楽の詐術に頼らずとも、映像と役者の立ち回りだけで観る者に深い感動を与えてくれる。

懐かしい。殺陣が本当に素晴らしい。模造刀とはいえ当たり所が悪ければとりかえしのつかないことになる緊張感は見事。
三船敏郎の息子が殿様で、この大根ぶりがなんとも素晴らしかった。うまい役者もいいけど、大根で魅了するのは昭和30年代のスターみたいだなと思った。
ごくろうさんです。三沢伊兵衛役の寺尾聡は高校三年を３回留年したというから、ある意味すごい度胸と根性の持ち主で、浪人役はなんか本物のオーラがある気がする。三沢伊兵衛の妻たよさんは、男から見た女性の理想像。宮崎美子さんがすばらしく演じてくれてよかった。でもこういう女性を探していると、結婚できなくなるよね（笑）
藤田まことさんのテレビ版では奥方は中村玉緒さんでしたね。
主題歌が今陽子さん。
あれは名作だったと思います。
I enjoy watching the tai sabaki and using the blunt side of the sword to 'give a message' without taking a life. Control of the Ego is so important within genuine Martial Arts.
I don't see it, when the blunt side ? Is it not sharpened sword unless ?
@@rabiersylvain Each Katana that I've seen in Japan and outside of Japan, has a live blade, obviously for cutting. It also has a side, which I have referred to as 'the blunt' side. What is it that you don't see? Perhaps I can help.
@@rabiersylvain the back of the blade is the Mune. A katana is NOT a double edged blade. The sharp side is the Ha. He reversed his grip to use the Mune, non-killing side, to strike rather than the Ha, killing side, at 6:20

_'After the Rain'_ along with _'When the Last Sword is Drawn'_ and _'The Twilight Samurai'_ are three of my favourite films. And I also love the _'Rurouni Kenshin'_ series as well.

Ame Agaru 'After the Rain' is an excellent film, and is reputed to be a project of Akira Kurosawa's that was finally completed after his death by other directors.
Like 'The Seven Samurai', it seems to both demonstrate the need for and extraordinary acheivements of the Samurai as a class, while also showing clearly that the more able they are, the less the 'normal' (think 'corrupted') world needs them.
Too sad story, can't watch it, only this kind of Extract. Misery of the working class, here Japanese one, is so painful.😭

you know you can break bones and probably even kill someone with a bokken.. Its dangerous. Some styles would wrap the bokken in thick leather to mitigate some of the damage, so guys could use it to practice

指南役を決める庭先、此処は掛川城天守閣から真下に見えますよ、殿様が居る縁側？を記憶してご覧頂ければ納得できますね。
「雨あがる」の映画を見終わっても仄々とした心地になりますよ。
城代家老の演技と浪人の奥方の会話、” デクの棒” の方々にはお分かりにはならないでしょう、言われるままに殿に報告、剣道指南役の役目は人の心を詠む大切さが重要だった事でした。
天守閣再建の時の市長さんにお話を伺ったことがあります。
城郭についての知識の深い方で、「現存14天守は」と仰るので「12ではないでしょうか？」と申し上げたところ、ニヤリと笑って「熊本城の宇土櫓はどうですか？名古屋城の清洲櫓も」とのことでした。
再建に当たっては、近所のおばあさんが3億円も寄付してくれたそうです。すごいなぁ。❤

いや、そのテレビの前にも同じ原作を使って長門勇・岩下志麻で道場破りという映画があったからリメイクというべきかと
