TRX4M BRUSHLESS! that's right folks. FURITEK!!!

- So I got bored and decided to make my TRX4M brushless with some Fruitek parts I had laying around. I also changed out my receiver and esc of course.
It was a little tricky but I used a Fruitek skid plate and did some in house machining to make it fit inside the stock TRX4M skid plate. No modifications to the TRX4M drive line at all and even used the stock driveshafts.
Still doing a little test and tuning, I think the mini Savox servo I add to it in place of the stock one will be a another improvement.
Let me know if you folks want to see under the body as to what and how I did the conversion.
I would love to know, I won’t buy the setup until I know how to do it.

@@crawlerspacercllc9982 same here. I enjoy designing things to upgrade or improve my rc’s. I can spend hours in my shop thinking, tinkering and printing stuff.
So I’m guessing the top speed is very low. That’s how my Furitek is but man can it crawl & the low speed modulation & torque are awesome.
Actually it’s faster then it was before I installed the furitek set up.
I don’t know much about brushless motors, but do they offer more low end power? Is this is correct, would that allow you to leave in the stock “mid speed” transmission so you get the best of both worlds? - Low speed grunt and higher speed from the transmission? I was planning on installing the crawl gears, but didn’t like the idea of losing higher speeds for trail use.
With the brushless being programmable (esc via Bluetooth) I have low end crawl ability and a ton of wheel speed all in one package.

Maybe if you used traxxas transmission there lower geared one if would be even better. If it has the one now my bad. Looks awesome great work
I ditched the whole trans mission to put in the Fruited set up as they usually come geared perfect out of the box. Plus it was much simpler to just install the whole unit instead of trying to make the stock one work.

Were you able to jam an SCX24 transmission onto the stock skid plate?
