Why would you miss a guy who threw our team under the bus then did nothing to change the relationship from his end? Then he lies on our team and acts like we never wanted him back when he wanted out? Nothing to miss for me. I appreciate what we got to experience, but he went out bad and left a bad rep behind him.

Brilliant comment , I’ve been a chef for many restaurants over my career and have been always trying to get better , and alof of frustration comes from not being appreciated, I now work for a place the respects me and I got to bring in people I’ve worked with before. Great words of wisdom, but we all know this isn’t the case with Aaron, wait till the going gets tough and he has to face the New York media, he’ll show his true colours. Aarons just saying all the right things cause as my boy skip bayless says he’s the “master media manipulator”. He’s a massive narcissist, constantly stretches the truth or lies to make himself look favourable. All time great player, all time worst human. Aaron was just going through the motions the last handful of yrs...and he won 2 MVPs in the process. He's clearly amped up and motivated. I think just being courted like that alone lit the fire. He wasn't highly recruited in college and he fell to the 24th pick. It's a completely new scenario for him

This is so much different from Favre. Favre showed up in late August, started well and then mailed it in while hiding an injury. Aaron looks genuinely happy to be out of that one horse town.

Will miss him so much as a Packer but I’m so glad to see the happiness in him. He deserves this and I will support him.
I seriously hope he can win a few SB’s in New York. Being a Packer fan and watching every single play of his NFL career I will say nobody deserves it more than him. All of us Packer fans suffered along with him being so close so many times and then being let down by coaching or a defense that choked. Granted Rodgers made enough mistakes himself in big games but as a whole he was the one that carried us when it mattered.
I’d be happy with one.

I'm also a Packer fan. Don't forget the biggest letdown of all... management not providing him with the offensive tools he needed to get another super bowl (or 5!). We watched the draft every year hoping for WR and TE's but it rarely happened before the later rounds, and they never picked up free agents for key offensive positions unless they were aged or injured well beyond their prime. Management always seems to be drafting for 2-3 seasons out and then when the rookie contracts end they let far too many good players walk. Ugh....

As a brazilian who started watching NFL in 2009 and became a Packers fan because I was in US when they were champions in 2010. My NFL experience was having Rodgers as QB, it still a little bit weird thinking that maybe has a chance we play against him. Aside all the dramas and minor problems, I wish good luck. Glad both could move on well.

@@arkhamknight6371 Yeah, East Rutherford, New Jersey, where the Jets & Giants play is warmer than New York state. The only football team actually playing in NY are the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park. I seem to recall some games having to be played in Detroit, Michigan due to massive snow storms . . . . Though NYC MTA & NJ Transit do get some impressive flooding!
We already miss you Aaron, wish we would have gotten you some WR talent in the first rounds these last few years to give you some help while we had davante so we could have built a SB team. But for some reason our GM only likes defense plays in the 1st round.

As a Bears fan I think Aaron got out of our division while he could because we are about ready to take back the North. It's disappointing to me that Aaron won't be there to witness it. I think this will be a one and done for Aaron and then he will retire. I honestly think the Jets will be eliminated from playoff contention the final week or a quick first round exit from playoffs
