What he says about Sandeshkhali is likely to be wrong in the face of the revelation made by the video of Mr. gangadhar koyal, a political party leader.
Rather, ask him to clarify why none of his party members was ever brought to justice for the wrongful acts on their part at marchjapi, in the case of brutal killing of anandamargi nuns and other men, and also about killing of village women at Netai. The list is not exhaustive.
What steps did he take in regard to the accumulation of arms and ammunition in CPM party offices, facts about which were regularly published in the Telegraph newspaper of kolkata during I suppose 2007/08/09.........

Social improvement: West Bengal’s ranked among the states was eighth in 1981 and the same in 2001. Over the same period, just to compare,Tamil Nadu improved its rank from seventh to third. Poverty levels in the State: The percentage of people living below the poverty line in West Bengal was 52.2% in 1977-78, compared with the all-India average of 48.3%. By 2004-05, according to Planning Commission figures, the proportion of West Bengal’s population below the poverty line was 24.7%, compared with the all-India average of 27.5%. But over the same period, Tamil Nadu decreased its share of people living in poverty from 52.8% to 22.5%. (source Dandekar committee )
