- An Italian television show has brutally mocked President Joe Biden's mental state in a Saturday Night Live-style skit aired on Saturday.
The skit portrayed an actor mimicking Biden, mumbling through a speech, wandering aimlessly, and confusing world leaders' names.
The skit also included the president singing in Italian and eventually pressing a nuclear launch button, claiming to have forgotten to take pills.
Aired by a European branch of Warner Brothers Discovery, it follows a 2022 (and then later 2023) Saudi Arabian TV show that mocked both Biden and Vice President Harris.
Users on X reacted to the skit and bemoaned how the US under Biden has become "the laughing stock of the world".

Biden's mental acuity has faced international ridicule after special counsel Robert Hur in a recent report described him as an "elderly man with a poor memory".

I am Italian from Italy and I watched this skit live.
He is Maurizio Crozza, a famous Italian comedian and character-actor. He performs every year in a weekly show and he is very appreciated for his sharp commentary on the state of Italy and the world.
Politically speaking he is from the left, but his comedy is neutral and he mocks everybody that deserves it. This wasn't the first time he did a Biden parody and in the past he even did Trump parodies.

When I asked a family member of mine what she thought about Biden's cognitive state - she had absolutely no idea what I was talking about.
The reason was she only watches the BBC, and they are very careful to edit their footage to make him look a lot more coherent than he is.
