Great update! These gives me a good idea of what I could grow into! I’ve noticed that when I take a few hours to create better systems, that pays dividends in my business in saving time and saving my back! We have another room that I’m about to expand to and making the most of the space for me includes using up space as far as the ceiling. I put the taller types of items in boxes on the top shelf. Inconvenient to get down, but they don’t sell as quickly so it’s not too bad. I use the A1 A2 A3 box system and don’t put numbers on my inventory just the box that it goes in. My question is how do you know what box the item is in once you’ve condensed? Follow the numerical order? For me I know the Patagonia jacket is in A1 so I’ll walk to that box and look for the label that says Patagonia jacket. My SKU contains the box number, sourcing location, price paid and date listed. This video is so great for newbies to show what a successful eBay business can grow into! My only take from a storage perspective might be make the most space of the walls with floating shelves here and there. Looks like you gals are rockin’ it!! 👍🏻
Agree on the time up front versus the dividends! Yes, you are correct. Everything is just a number (no letters). The sku on the bag shows peeking out of the box so that's how we know what is in each box. Basically the number on the front of one box should contain every number in between that and the front number of the next box. Hope this makes sense! Since they always stay in numerical order and basically just move like a snake when they get condensed, it always works!

The office looks amazing!! I love my standing desk! That, accompanied by my cushioned rugs at each of my stations (desk/packaging, and my photography station) total game changer! I love the chair, and will need to keep these in mind when I start looking later this summer.

Those Rubbermaid shop carts really are nice. I grabbed one years ago off of Craigslist for $40 and it was beat up but they're built like tanks and last for ages. I use mine for rolling buckets / soap / sprays / etc around a shop floor for car detailing.

So far, there's not been too much of a method to my madness lol. I'm still figuring everything out on Whatnot. You are going to see a video next week about some strategies I will be trying on Whatnot.

Hello! I don't share this info for privacy reasons (hope you understand). But I will tell you that I pay wayyyy less in my area than most people pay because cost of living and real estate here is very low.
We just build a wood tote rack in our garage and made our space go vertically. Maybe you should think of something like that. I know you can also make the wood rack mobile tutorial is on CZcams.

I think cubicles, while oppressive in a corporate setting, would be ideal for focusing distraction-free while listing. Like how those library carrels in college were so good for focusing when you're studying for that degree that will hang on your wall while you're reselling used clothing for a living.
When you are condensing the inventory then how do you keep track of what's where now? If that makes sense.
They all have a numbered sticker on them and they are all in numerical order. So since they are in order, they remain in order when we condense.
Hello, what did you used for shipping on eBay flat or calculate rate, what method of shipping USPS ground advantage? Or what ?
I use calculated shipping and we offer both ground advantage and a priority option (either priority mail or padded fr envelope).

I love "organization" and loved seeing more of your operation in this video. Do you think decluttering and getting rid of old listings on ebay has anything to do with your increase in sales? I've only been back to selling a couple years and I know I have probably 3-400 things of my 1300 inventory I would never buy again. Some are from a boutique I had and I sold a LOT of it on eBay over the past 2 years but has ran it's course. It's a struggle to know if I should just dump especially all the S/M/L in the brand. I run huge sales on the brand that I never end and it does still bring in some $ but I'm loving my new finds now and learned what I need to replace it all with for sure! My question is, is it hurting having that stale inventory sit? May be no way to know but your sales have jumped so I was curious if you felt reducing old stuff had anything to do with that on ebay?
I definitely saw a slight increase in sales when I removed the stale listings from my store. The huge bump in sales that I've had recently is due to using promoted listings.
