  • What Scientists Just Discovered At The Grand Canyon TERRIFIES The Whole World. The Grand Canyon, marked by stratified bands of red rock, is one of the most notable natural landforms in the United States and the entire world. Nicknamed the basement of history, it is an embodiment of rock layers, with each rock representing a distinct prehistoric period since the earth's genesis. Recently, a group of experts researched the Grand Canyon. What they discovered will change the course of history and our knowledge about the historic structure. But what exactly did they discover and how will this affect the Grand Canyon? Join us.. as we explore Scientists' terrifying discoveries in the Grand Canyon.

What is terrifying? Possibly a trick to get you to view. Mining and dams have multiple issues. If you tear down dams where is the water going to come from to replace? Desalination? It uses lots and lots of power. Mining provides metals and minerals which need to come from somewhere. Uranium is a tough one. I wouldn't want anything to do w one. We should remember water is precious and not waste it.

My husband and I have visited the Grand Canyon twice. The South rim the first time, 2 years ago, November 2021 and the North rim in September 2023. We were and still are both in awe at the beauty and splendor of that amazing wonder. Yes, the landscape is definitely a challenge, especially if you are used to flat surfaces but the glory and beauty of this area is something we will treasure forever.
You must have total respect for the landscape. One wrong step and you could fall off the edge. But don’t let that danger discourage you from visiting. Just stay alert and follow the rules, you will be able to enjoy one of the many splendors of this beautiful world.

Many years ago I took a exciting trip on a mule down the side of the canyon and learned what faith is all about. Starting off I had to keep my eyes on the wall and could not endure looking at the 1000 foot drop off on the other side of our 3 foot wide path. Once you start there is no turning back and the mule is in complete charge however after about a half hour your faith in your companions slow and sure footed descent is restored and you then can look and truly enjoy the absolute awesome beauty that God has laid before you.

We visited the Grand Canyon and it was the most scariest place I've even been. You get close to an open area and you feel your equilibrium out of control! Maybe because I suffer from vertigo, so when I got close, I had my husband hold me and walk me back up to the parking lot with my eyes closed. I would have fainted if he didn't hold me tight and walked me out of there. However, we took a jeep ride to the Colorado River, and this was a fantastic experience! What a monster river that was. We had to get a special permit as we were going to cross a Native American Reservation's town. Overall, if you suffer from Vertigo, don't get too close as many people have fallen over to their deaths, it's a fact. A book is available that tells you exactly how many people have fallen over accidentally.

Google vertigo love...fk all to do with heights... a fear of heights Is called acrophobia.. i get wake up in the middle of the night in cold sweats, feeling I'm going to fall, have to throw myself out of bed because I feel paralysed, crawl to the bathroom and am violently sick... soaked in cold sweat, I have to attend the hospital regularly, it can get done at Home, Start in an upright, seated position on your bed. Tilt your head around a 45-degree angle away from the side causing your vertigo. Move into the lying position on one side with your nose pointed up. Stay in this position for about 30 seconds or until the vertigo eases off, whichever is longer. this Is what I need to do, sometimes it helps sometimes it does'nt.. called Epley maneuver.. I pass out a lot..its all to do with Blance. I don't understand why you're mentioning height

I had this book it’s called death in Grand Canyon. I visited when I was in middle school my aunt took me there it was 2006. A man died there a week before my arrival the car was still at the bottom harshly damaged. Poor man drove off the cliff ending to his demise. His corpse was shattered, inter warped like a rag doll. I was infatuated yet traumatized by what could drive a human being to want to die so violently. Grand Canyon is truly a mystical place yet filled with death.

From someone who earned a living in a mining related industry it will sound hypercritical of me to say this but how many high grade small production patches are out there. Until it is a necessity these areas should be left alone. As for the indigenous peoples they should be left alone and those who have the privilege of visiting their homes should do so with the same respect that they would expect of a visitor to their homes.

Excellent video w/ so much information. In CA, we need more rock gardens & other ways to avoid our water habits. A River is more important than green lawns & golf greens!
BUT, it’s TIME to STOP using “A.D.” as time period. Scholars use BCE & CE now. These terms are NOT anti- Christian or anti- Catholic ( the Church which created “B(efore) C(hrist)& A(non) D(Omani); “year of Our Lord”. but scientifically neutral.
Whenever I read a book, article or see a video, written in the last 30 years using the outdated abbreviations, I immediately wonder about the level of scholarly information involved. However, YOUR video is so excellent, it deserves to be seen as being scholastically current!
PLEASE change it & don’t use in future videos! I AM a Subscriber 😊

I really enjoyed that I have seen the canyon twice I was awe struck both times. My husband was taking pictures all the time and he was one of those idiots that goes where they say don't lol He drove me nuts lol But his pictures were amazing. He sent one of his pics in to be enlarged it was of the Grand Tetons just outside the entrance to Grand Canyon or Yellowstone Park having short term memory problems, Anyway , I told a friend it was the NYC of ground hogs lol They were every where lol. He went in and he to see if it had come back yet and they had said no till he saw it on the wall they thought Kodak had sent it to be used for advertising lol So that was a really nice compliment for my husband. I am a weaver so we both gave his best friend and new wife something we both created. ;) Have a good fall and thank you again.

If you haven't seen the painted hills in Oregon your missing out. It's breathtaking I took pictures of a massive colored mountain and put my computer to the task on all the colors after four months I gave up my computer couldn't make them all. I also found so many fossils and talking to people living there it's quite on how many massive dinosaurs were found I never see such large tusk's. Did you know Oregon was tropical and believed others lived in Oregon first before Indian people yep. It was found giant people. But don't tell the government we know this they will take everything from the homes out there. I will say it's a drive no gas to fill up. No hotel or camping in the area but on your last area is all that. There is some bed and breakfast. No cell phone or gps yep get a thing called a Map.

Many real geologists and any real scientist will admit that no one can guess the age the rocks by the fossils and no one can guess the age the fossils by the rocks, so no one knows the age of any of the rock formations or rock layers. The Grand Canyon was formed by the dam breaking that held back that huge lake in rerecorded-history . The river did not cut the side canyons for sure, as that would be impossible for one river to do that. Just enjoy the view and let no one guess at the age of it.
