Hey everyone! Thanks for watching - a quick couple notes: YES I missed things, I didn't go over all combos I went over the important ones/moves that make each hero special. I did this purposefully. Several Individual ones (ie. Mege's Warden) cover all the moves so don't worry.
I also didn’t feel the need to mention it but unless I specify it, any attack that isn’t a melee bash (cent’s punch and glad’s toe stab are melee bashes for example), it CAN be feinted.
ALSO I know I probably left out some actual important things and/or got some of the info wrong, shit happens :) I'll be hearting any comments that fill in those gaps so you can read them! Vikings are next week :D

Just got done watching your vids gingy 🙂

Respect for the amount of work behind these kind of videos
I wouldn’t say “auto parry” for Warden’s top light. That gives the impression that it stops unblockables when it doesn’t.
This is true - and I should have specified as such!

Actually...
Lawbringer's OOS throw punish is actually Foward Throw > Heavy in whatever direction your guard is on > Another heavy if you did a side heavy, do a top, if you did a top, do a side one).
Edit: There's another option after you parry an OOS opponent, it goes like this: Parry > Make Way > Top Heavy, although it deals the same amount of damage, this combo lets you sneak in a Longarm after Make Way for additional CC in group fights.
In both throw and parry OOS punishes, you can sneak in a longarm after the first attack for additional CC in group fights.
(A side note, it's good to mention that the Unblockable Heavy finisher in Judge, Jury and Executioner is actually... useless, your opponent can do a back dodge and just counter anything you throw)
Also, Centurion's OOS throw punish is actually done by:
Having your guard on top before guard breaking, then after the guard break, punch them in the face twice, and throw backwards ( Edit: According to King Zach, you can actually throw them to the sides aswell, but i'm not sure about that), but here's the tricky part, do a light attack but the timing has to be just right, I reccommend pressing the button right after the "red broken shield" icon disappears, after the light attack do a maximum delayed charged heavy, that will pin your opponent allowing you to uppercut them into Eagle's Talons.
(Also pretty sure you can do something similar to that after a parry but i'm not sure).
Here's another block of text, this is in regards to Glad's OOS punishes.
Glad's OOS throw punish is actually Side Throw > Foward Dash Light > Heavy Feint (for timing) > Toe Stab > Heavy
You can also continue to pressure your opponent by doing a Skewer after that last Heavy, wich, if you land, allows you to throw them into another max punish.
But we're not done yet, Glad's OOS parry punish is actually Heavy > Heavy feint > Toe Stab > Heavy.
Yeah I think that's pretty much it, so remember, don't make dead memes, burn those heretics and always deploy your assets on the volcano.

@@yasminkelfrinkel I mean

Centurions oos gb doesn't need to be thrown behind them mind. Can be done to left or right
@@LaserThemTheGirl actually delayed light riposte into top heavy is same damage as make way into top heavy on OOS parry and you can go into unblockable and because of start up frames on standing up from an exhausted fall they can't just back dodge away, a GB will catch a back dodge in this scenario
@@danestambaugh255 Technically, Make Way Into Top Heavy deals 5 more damage than Light Riposte into Top Heavy and yes, they can still back dodge. However the Light Riposte into Top Heavy is an excellent option if you got your opponent stuck in a corner or just against a wall.
To be fair, you must have a high IQ to get the Knights.

Remember with the glad
You dont need to counterguardbreak ever
A zone is guaranteed on gb reaction
This is true, it’s why I mentioned the 0 chance of guard break but probably should have explicitly said this!
Yes! And if you're on PC you can even be a little cheeky and bind zone attack to the same button as guard break and take advantage of your muscle memory.
Just wanted to say new player (picked the game up when it was free) and your content has been incredibly helpful. Thanks for all the laughs and info!
Rage yet?
If not, you ain't that much of a noob
Being a new player myself back in August, i first went through the story chapters twice before going online. So, i would advice you to do the same to hold your own better. Also stay away from 3 heroes which are definitely noob slayers: conq, cent and orochi until you get familiar with your hero more. They were my kryptonite.
Hey you forgot to mention an important thing bout conq tho. If you shieldbash someone after a light or heavy into a wall you'll get a top heavy.
He did mention you can load your unblockable to opponent's face though.

Thanks Marco, as a player that loves Knight heroes, this was a good watch ^^
Awesome guide man ! Very nicely done
It’s funny because this one (KNIGHTS) has more views than the others (Vikings, Samurai, And Wu-Lin)
Which makes sense.
As everyone loves knights.
i was watching wu tang clan videos and now i got this for your spoken intro? damn they are listening.
lawbringer smacking himself with his halberd was funny as hell.
Really well done. There's a lot of good stuff in there.
This is such a cool video idea, I’ve been playing since the beta, and even I learned something that I have forgotten
Theres not enough content for newcomers nowadays. Thanks for the great video.
This video was amazing, thanks Marco!
No problem Luke!
As the conqueror as one of my mains, I new practically everything you said about him. I start off every 1v1 with a charged top heavy, and when ever surrounded by minions I use the zone until they're all dead and I'm out of stamina. However out of all the times I've used an all block I never new you get a free heavy, thanks very helpful video!
This video definitely earned my sub ^^
As a centurion I love walls and feinting kicks and when the enemy is poorly timed to dodge the charge punch, feels so good 😂

its worth mentioning that a bash following a heavy is stronger than one from a light, sends people further and wall splats
Freeze very recently released another video on guard break vulnerability windows and our two romans get a special mention in there in regards to their heavy attacks (also Conqueror)
I thought I knew my warden pretty well but shit man! You’ve taught me so much.
My body is ready.
Insta-subbed, best guide video ever!
Far from beeing a new player but still watched the whole video its really well done and the memes are on point
I'd like to add that you can follow up any wallsplat with a Lawbringer (from a GB or impale) with a Long Arm - you lose the damage from a top heavy, but this can help greatly in team fights since you're serving the enemy to the team and keep him unable to defend himself for longer.
My boyfriend is a streamer and im new to his world of newschool video games. This helped me out so much! Thank you.
*Centurion:* "how dare you to expose my WEAKNESS!"
Hey I wanted to say this is a wonderful video. BUT at 9:30 you talked about Conqueror's opening with the running shield bash. and this works with 4v4's as a supportive move. Thats it, in a 1v1 situation, they patched i believe in the last or two updates ago. that it is not guaranteed. i simply want to put this information forward so no one gets frustrated or worked up if they glanced over the guid and ended up pissed when they were about to finish somebody and the running tackle lands but, the follow up shield bash is dodged and punished for. Iv loved your content, please keep up the good work
Good to know - thanks for that! I’ve encountered lots of similar things while filming for the Vikings guide this week, lots of old punishes and confirmed moves aren’t there any more.
The original music bringing back the feels
Why does the bleed moves flash purple? Can you customize special effects or is it some colorblind mode?
I remember as a lawbringer I got my side heavy after heavy parry (choo choo train) blocked almost every time. Is this a recent change?
No one ever talks about the lawbro ad mortem feint mix up work so well against assassins and others in general if you don't spam it on all parries, parry heavy ad mortem feint and gb or watch them side step attack and get parried again, which means they are out of stam for whatever 1 hit you can actually get when they are out of stam or if light you actually get free ad mortem. Feels so good doing that
real sadbringer hours
I found conq gets a charged heavy and a follow up shield bash for a walsplat for oos parries
note a cong. can throw a zone from all guard if they think there opponent will try a gb and cancel it to a shield bash
The skewer can be done after a chain heavy finisher as well

Thank you Marco Yolo, very cool!
Are these going to be updated? As alot of heroes have been changed and added
Forgot to say with Warden OOS punish> side heavy to top unblockable heavy is punishable with guard break, on the other hand 2 side heavys have no punish but do slightly less damage.
Hollow FH don’t they do the same 40 damage
You forgot one important thing in Lawbro's section, to tell new players that he isn't bad, they just need to learn how to play him
Fact
Now this is when the three factions have a truce
There's also different way for cents max oos punish if you can't get the kick timing. Throw them behind you do a light attack while moving backwards then do the charged heavy then charged punch and etc.
I play alot of law bringer and looking back on this and seeing how rough it was, no wonder you rarely see high rep LBs. nowadays he’s easily one of, if not the most oppressive people on the field. With his insane parry punish and the ability to basically constantly keep your opponent disoriented I rarely get 1v1s, with people usually making sure to bring back up because once an LB has you in a chain its very hard to get out of.
That intro reminded me of Brickey's so you want to main videos

Something to add for Warden:
his top light "parry" will not parry unblockables. It's counted as a "superior block" so any top unblockables (like broserker's) will go through the top light, so it's better to just dodge/heavy parry/etc
I didn’t heed the volume warning and regretted it instantly
I never noticed that depending on how long you charge cents punch the animation changes. Like short hold casual upper cut long hold and cent smashes the pommel of his gladius into their neck. XD
I usually did a full charge or a no charge
A flip of the sword to the blade facing down, with knuckles to the face, or the fist to the face as normal
This really helps thank you
I do love playing a counter-hevsy Conq with those superior block properties, and rushing to defend teammates. Nobody gonna hurt my buddies on my watch
2:04 "no u"
With cent's max throw punish, instead of doing a kick you can just throw a backwards light into a forward charged heavy. It still works. You can also throw them to the side and to a forward light into a forward charged heavy for the same effect
Centurion - "The more you fight him, the better you get"
But it seems that people play him so rarely that on the odd chance that you get to fight him, it'll either be the first time that you fight him, or it's been so long since the last time that you've already forgot anything that you learned about him.
I must say glad feels more like a hybrid than a assassin to me
Hey, I thought the video was incredibly helpful. I don’t know if anyone mentioned this already, but Gladiator gets a guaranteed forward dash light off of skewer. If you time it right, you get most (if not all) of the bleed, and that sweet 20 damage. Plus that will start up chains for maximum aggression.
Edit: you can dodge out of skewer before it ends. You don’t have to throw them first. I like to use this punish when there’s no wall or ledge nearby.
Great vid mate but Glads max OoS parry punish is:
Heavy -> heavy feint (you dont have to but its the perfect timing for...) -> toe stab -> heavy.
Everything on this is confirmed, even the toestab, it nets ten more damage, and if you're in revenge it confirms more than 70 damage.
Cents TRUE max OoS throw is
Throw back delayed light, unblockable pin, heavy jab, eagles talon
However, even being almost rep 20 with Cent and a duelist, this is probably the hardest combo to pull off in my opinion, even against a static bot I can rarely land it perfectly. However the max throw punish goes from 65 to w whopping 80 damage, with no gear stats.
Even if all my knights are rep 10 or higher, and played more hours than I am willing to admit, still watched and enjoyed this video :D
I feel like missing cent's Heavy into jab into light into a repeat was a missed opprotunity. Whenever i see people consistently parrying my charges this nice little loop keeps pressure on good.
Rep 8 Warden, loving these videos. Always looking to improve my Deus Vult.
Your OOs Stam punishes for glad are wrong. I mean that will work. But you can do punishes that deal 70 dammage.
On an OOS parry, with or without a wall, you want to do Heavy -> Heavy Feint -> Toe Stab -> Heavy.
On an OOs throw, with or without a wall, you want to do Side Throw -> Forward Dash Light -> Delayed Toe Stab (You can heavy feint into toe stab and the timing will be perfect every time) -> Heavy This gives 60 dammage, but 70 with haymaker.
Also some skewer tech to optomize your dammage with it.
Skewer -> 2 Bleed Ticks -> Wall Throw -> Heavy (50 dmg)
Skewer -> 2 Bleed Ticks -> Top Dash Light (40 dmg)
Skewer (With Opponent Pressed on Wall) -> 2 Bleed Ticks -> Shield Bash (Guard Break) -> Heavy (50 dmg)
If you are curious on to where i got this information, This is where i got it from, it showcases all chars and optiomal punishes and feats and executions. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IZy1V09Y_pOM3KaPULCtOC471xwCUnzeqHLQ6toZUHI/edit?usp=sharing
Hey Marco, what's your opinion on the season 8 lawbringer armor? Imo it looks fricking awesome :D
I’m super hyped for all the new armour. I probably won’t use all of new kensei or conq but I understand/respect where they went with those two.
Fucking CZcams fills my recommended tab with For Honor videos after I give the game a break... Time to download again.
Centurion's max out of stam punish on GB is light, light, throw backwards, delay light, delay fully charged heavy to pin, fully charged jab into eagle's talons. For an extra 15 damage compared to the oos punish shown in the vid. The timing is really hard though.
"You can literally, no u"
For warden’s max punish the throw to the side guarantees a side heavy and top heavy combo
I played glad for a few months barley using zone and still did well
"Wu Tang Clan's arrival" that's a new one
Some Lawdaddy advice here, I haven't fully tested this with all the out of stam punishes, specifically the gb throw, cause it definitely works with a parry. If you parry someone when they are out of stamina, hit them with a top light into a top heavy, this is confirmed. Then you can chain into an unblockable heavy from any direction, which forces your opponent to either dodge, attempt another parry, or let you smack them. This can keep an opponent on the ground for a while if they keep messing up, and does assloads of damage. If you're having trouble getting anyone to attempt parries or dodge while they are out of stamina, hit them with a light into heavy from any direction, if they aren't parrying both will swing through and you can chain back into that heavy and force them to choose again. That's what i've found to be the best way to get disciplined opponents to react while out of stam, but all of these punishes take tons of stamina with the feints and long chains that it takes to get anything done. Still, these are my most effective tools when playing Lawbringer.
This video was super helpful, I just got back into the game and I’m mostly playing warden. Only issue... I don’t even know how to use a zone attack
