In the latest clip, Turk gave his initial reaction to Soulja Slim's death. He recalled being on the run when he heard the news and tried calling the late rapper to confirm the passing. He also responded to Juvenile blaming Soulja Slim's crew for the death and said no one was to blame for the situation. Turk also talked about Soulja Slim passing just as he was having a crossover moment with the number one hit, "Slow Motion." - Zábava

The love Magnolia slim gets is second to none..... rip dawg
Soulja Slim was definitely on his way with Slow Motion. He had quotable verses on a song with a nationally proven multi platinum artist. And all the hard songs Juve dropped, it was his only Billboard Hot 100 #1. I remember Slim got on BET College Hill and if they shot a video to Slow Motion, it would have made it to 106 and Park and he would have taken off. He had charisma, reality music and his own style. That cadence on Soulja Life Mentality is still one of the most unique I've heard.
Give it 2 em raw went gold
Soulja life mentality probably the best Gangsta’ rap song ever.
I remember that episode of College Hill!! I told myself "hey there go Soulja Slim!!" The girl he was standing by didn't know a word he spoke smh I knew exactly what he said. Listening to so much BG I wasn't a No Limit fan as much as I was a CMR fan but Soulja came with skills on the mic!! The way he freaked the microphone I was like, this dude freestyling?
