I agree I really think this is strong (it's really strong on the recording + headphones, lovely vibed-out thrumming base and outstanding chorus and live it was even better, vocals which were all sung live, no pre recorded backing vocals, flutes popping, crowd bopping...). I would have liked to have seen more people give this number the time of day

Moldova gave us the Epic Sax Guy (2 times), Dragostea Din Tei (which led to the Numa Numa guy), Zdob&Zdub's three weird performances and Pasha Parfeni evolving from normal folk guy to spiritual hippiesque guy (which is great!) What a legendary country, keep the cheerful folk songs!

They also integrate their culture in their performances! Maybe the song really was, but the performance could be better. But anyway, as a moldovan, i appreciate a lot that they've chosen one of the most valuable piece of folklore that we have - the Miorița ballade. Good time to go and read it again...
This performance was so awesome! And underrated. Pasha’s voice is smooth and powerful and really gives me the chills, especially combined with those harmonies by the ladies. The drummers in the background and the epic flute guy really make this song insane and the light show combined with the sick electronics on the stage itself made for such a great act
It is always a pleasure to hear Eurovision songs being sang in the language of the singer/country where he comes from and not in English. And this song mixes perfectly original language + folkloristic tratitions : that is what makes Europe so beautiful, the Diversity. Love from Italy❤

EASILY THE BEST SONG OF THE COMPETITION. How do I know? Because I keep wanting to listen to it over and over again. Brilliant, hook (the flute), confident tight dance performance which complements a brilliant melody and lyrics and not compensates for weak ones (unlike some of the entries). Well done guys. Sorry you did not win but winning does not make who did win better than you. I assure you. Agreed this is criminally underrated. There is something fishy going on when one artist (while good but does not stand head and shoulders above others)suddenly starts getting a series of douze points!!! Hmmmm!!!! (From the UK)

What a beautiful melody of the song accompanied with great performance! The dancers hairstyles are gorgeous, I've heard it's a traditional Moldovan hairstyle that represents the Moon, and the whole song sounds like it's honoring it! As someone who loves astronomy and especially the Moon I am beyond mesmerized by this 🌙 I've read that Pasha has performed on Eurovision before and that even later on he wanted to compete again but he didn't win on nationals, until now, and I'm so glad that he did! I also appreciate that they sang in their own language, this just wouldn't sound the same in English. It's sad that this song wasn't rated higher by boring juries so it ended up on 18th place but you should all know that public voted for this and it ended up 9th in public votes!!! Cum nimeni nu ne bagă în seamă, dacă anul trecut locul 2 după public, și anul acesta locul 9? Juriu ne-a stricat poziția finală, însă oamenii ce privesc Eurovision deobicei destul de bine ne evaluează. Asta tu nu prea ești atentă sau în copilărie părinții cereau prea multe rezultate de la tine la școală și din cauza asta vrei tot timpul numai locul 1 și gata. Chiar și locul 2 nu e rezultat... compătimiri.

This performance was so awesome! And underrated.
Pasha’s voice is smooth and powerful and really gives me the chills, especially combined with those harmonies by the ladies. The drummers in the background and the epic flute guy really make this song insane and the light show combined with the sick electronics on the stage itself made for such a great act

EASILY THE BEST SONG OF THE COMPETITION. How do I know? Because I keep wanting to listen to it over and over again. Brilliant, hook (the flute), confident tight dance performance which complements a brilliant melody and lyrics and not compensates for weak ones (unlike some of the entries). Well done guys. Sorry you did not win but winning does not make who did win better than you. I assure you. Agreed this is criminally underrated.

What a beautiful melody of the song accompanied with great performance! The dancers hairstyles are gorgeous, I've heard it's a traditional Moldovan hairstyle that represents the Moon, and the whole song sounds like it's honoring it! As someone who loves astronomy and especially the Moon I am beyond mesmerized by this 🌙
I've read that Pasha has performed on Eurovision before and that even later on he wanted to compete again but he didn't win on nationals, until now, and I'm so glad that he did! I also appreciate that they sang in their own language, this just wouldn't sound the same in English. It's sad that this song wasn't rated higher by boring juries so it ended up on 18th place but you should all know that public voted for this and it ended up 9th in public votes!!! Asta tu nu prea ești atentă sau în copilărie părinții cereau prea multe rezultate de la tine la școală și din cauza asta vrei tot timpul numai locul 1 și gata. Chiar și locul 2 nu e rezultat... compătimiri.
