Thanks, good job. I was able to put it on without filing cable, a bit tight, but it works. Hardest part was getting interior door panels off. They have been on for 25 years tho!

Thanks for the help. Ill be trying this tomorrow with my rear doors but might as well replace the sliding door too. A tip i5ve seen others who are using this is to instead of cutting the brittle plastic is by smashing it with pliers. Not sure if this might help someone. Thanks for the video and all the tools to put in my bag.

does the ball end of the cable go into the top of the hole? Or through the bottom. That is the part I wanted to see on how to re attach the cable to the handle.

What's the name of the 4 aluminum piece called?
They are just cable replacement ends, search e250 door handle cable end replacements on Amazon.
I’m having trouble because it’s the bottom cable not connected on whatever it was connected to on the bottom not the actual handle
You'll have to take the bolts out of the lower latch. And pull the whole thing up out of the inside of the door.
