Can You Handle Disruption

  • Can your company handle the disruption that it needs? If you're not sure about that answer then let's work on it. What is culture? Culture is simply a system of beliefs. And if your beliefs are holding you back from moving into the disruption, it's the beliefs that you don't have permission, you don't have the right people, that this is not the right time for us to do this, then you need to jettison those beliefs. And instead you need to adopt and identify the new beliefs that are going to move you forward. These are beliefs like, we have permission, this is the right time, we are in the right place with the right people to be able to do this. In the end there's nothing more important than having the confidence that your company can handle the disruption that it needs.

    Some middle management are resistant technophobes hanging onto the upper rungs of the org chart for dear life. They could better serve by being honest about their fears which is stopping the company from moving forward.
