The most I've ever spent on a figure was $400, and even though I LOVE it (one of MY grails) even today I'm like man, I really did that. 😅😂 Can't imagine spending $1-3k but I can definitely see why this one costs so much. It was so fun to watch you unbox something like this and live vicariously through you. 😊

@@DTTCReviews It was the Megahouse Beelzebumon and Behemoth G.E.M. figure! I was kind of like you and at the time couldn't stomach the price at that particular point in my life (and honestly there are not many figures I would spend more than $200 on), but then a few months later I had mad regrets and was searching everywhere for it. 😅🤦♀️ I managed to win an ebay auction and got it at a little under retail price, I was/still am soooo happy.

@@DTTCReviews lmao yes it's a slippery slope, I love the series so much. 🤣 I especially love all the old figures of the OG digidestined with their digimon in rookie form, it has taken all myself control to limit myself to Sora and Yamato (because of cost), I want all of them 😭. I also own the G.E.M. Angewomon w/ Holy Arrow (the non LED base version). I'm in the process of moving into a bigger place and cant wait to set them up in a detolf together. 😍

That was such a great arc in the show and the studio captured Eneru very well! The use of blue resin, the golden bell and buildings and the clouds really help to set the statue off! Gives you great depth and sense of scale! I totally agree that for the price there’s a few little things that could’ve been done better! Awesome video bro and you just earned yourself a sub!! CW and Surge Studio “Fate” with Sage Naruto, Minato, and Jiraiya. I’m hoping GAC will say it’s shipping soon and that it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg. I recently decided to get into One Piece after being casual with it forever and I’m 400 eps in and loving it. If I wasn’t such a purist (don’t like digital) with manga I’d start trying to buy those

Yes yours is different than mine. Paint on mine is flawless. Might be because they use different factories for different edition sizes. I got chinese version and its the best painted statue I've seen so far

The official 1:1 is something that I'll never own. 🤣 You can buy a Tesla with that kind of money 🤑 There's a Rem in a picture frame that has cast off bits... 👀

I didn't end up pre-ordering this one but for my Jimei Kuzan it was about 3-4 months are the release. 😁

It's also worth noting that licensed statues have much better quality control then unlicensed. Also most unlicensed statues don't have instruction manuals and if a piece gets broken during shipment, the likelihood of it being replaced is much lower with an unlicensed statue. So the extra costs definitely has its benefits tbh.
I haven't had the chance to unbox an unlicensed piece yet but I'll definitely be on the look out! 😁 Fingers crossed my LX Vegeta arrives in one piece! 😱

@@DTTCReviews I ended up doing the math yesterday 'cause I got curious, turns out in the past two months I've slowly spent around 2k and mind that's like like 4 scale figures max, so I'm honestly starting to think that for that much I would have preffred getting some scale figures instead of all the prize figures I went wild on, the quality really is worth the price even if its much less than what you get in quantity, some prize figures are absolute gold though, for sure. But yeah man, this hobby escalates FAST, too bad ikea detolfs are going out of stock since they market for those shelves is horrible right now and I can't display anything TwT

You overpaid by a lot the original price is around 1200$ us re selling price is around 1900$ us and still available at that price by some sellers so you overpaid by about 1100$
