He instead grabs Tifas Shoulder :D The the Scene in Chap 14 where Barret tells Cloud that Al(?) was making a try on Tifa :D The Scene in Chap 9 where Aerith mentioned, that Johnny has a crush on Tifa and so on :D There is SO MANY of this in the game. Oh my gosh, thank you for these videos! I can clearly see the tension between these two. I have to admit that Aerith's presence has a healing effect on Cloud (that is, she indirectly teaches him to be more human, to get involved in activities, and to enjoy life more in general), BUT I don't see their relationship as romantic at all. Whereas Cloud and Tifa share deep-rooted feelings towards each other, but Tifa is probably too shy and confused to confess, and Cloud finds it hard to identify what these feelings are. All the Clerith arguments don't usually cover the Remake after the dream scene, but while in Shinra HQ, Cloud goes "Tifa Tifa Tifa" all the way, and I love that :)

I think you had missed similar scene on Final Chapter. During the final battle with Whisper Harbinger, you may found that there's a scene about Cloud uses his sword to protect Tifa from Whisper Rubrum.

i didn’t hate Aerith when i played OG many years ago, but after reading Clerith fans’ bad comments about Tifa and push Cloud to be with Aerith make me a little bit annoyed 😅
@@laurajanco2i I really think that this Aerith is from the future, she knows Cloud and Tifa are going to end up together and have their family, she just wants her friends to be happy (and maybe not waste so much time haha). I really think that scene in the train graveyard, where Aerith grabs Cloud's arm? I really think she did that to give Tifa a push to do the same thing. And it worked! Aerith is a Cloti shipper too!

Cloud's love interest is, really, it's Tifa. Tifa was who he wanted to impress since his childhood, and in a way left to join SOLDIER in order to do so.Therefor Cloud thought he loved Aerith because he essentially turned himself into a Cloud/Zack hybrid taking on some of Zacks persona and history while seemingly erasing Zacks existence from his memory his mind was warped in a trauma he personified only what he saw in Zack. Cloud becomes himself after Tifa rescues him from the lifestream (4) kinda think that's why cloud has this very confusing answers when he is questioned

You know what, the first round playing that game, i didnt know the option to whom you want to wake up will decide on the chapter 14 cutscene, i actually woke aerith up but unfortunately i died to Abzu 😂😂😂 so second round i go and wake Tifa up, thanks god i got the Tifa and Cloud hugging scene 🤣🤣🤣 didnt know there was alternate scene on my first time playing it!
cloud do all of this to protect tifa and his friends , and tifa really wait for cloud for 7 years . you know the barret's resolution right that somebody pull a flower trick into tifa and tifa told him where to stick it . and we know Everybody would love to have tifa as their girlfriend and im sure tifa had many men really into her but She's waiting for cloud. on top of that she has nobody to lay on to share her feelings and when she feel trapped no one understands it except cloud ik she didn't exactly wait for cloud but she hope she can meet with cloud again and sphares her feelings . even tho if she wants to , she can find men that cared for her but she's not , tifa waiting for cloud maybe not " waiting " for him but she Really hope cloud will comeback with her again . that's why cloud is really meant to be with tifa . BUT sadly love story didn't always has a great endings like what tifa said in gold saucer " be an old friend timing is everything ( i didn't remember the exact sentence ) " there's a big chance cloud would go for aerith if she's not dead ofc. Instead of tifa aerith fix his mind . but imo aerith's death is absolute she'll die at some point in this game but we never know . i hope we can choose in part 2 / part 3 who'll be our partner
Tifa deserves better. I wish she could have ended up with someone better. I mean she had to witness how Cloud became obsessed with Aerith because he wanted so badly for his past to be like Zack's so he pushed Tifa away. Then in Advent Children he still was obsessed with Aerith abandoned Tifa even when he brought a sick orphan to her house and then left. I mean he is an asshole to Tifa and she deserves better. Cloud was kinder with Aerith because it was a way to be everything he couldn't be for Tifa and lie to himself in order to be happy. So, Tifa deserves better, I even prefer her to end up to with Rufus and for both of them to clean up the mess that Shinra made. Sadly Cloud is the main character so he ended up with th sweet, virginal and patient girl that will always be there for him even if he is an asshole.
This thank you, I mean he doesn’t just mourn aerith but he also mourns Zack but people especially cleriths love to argue that cloud mourned aerith more than Zack. I think it has to do more with him blaming himself for aerith’s death because he couldn’t protect her when he should have been saying the same thing about Zack also because he could have said “but I let both you and Zack die” when talking to the spirit of aerith. To be honest the rebirth game made me lean more towards letting cloud be all alone and letting our girl tifa get more better with Rufus 🤤
