@sethrawbass bro, it's all "hemp." Some cannabis is just low in thc in comparison to others phenos. Thats why it has to have less than .3% thc in order to be legal nationwide. If we got true fda/dea/atf legalization, I could see them putting limits on cannabinoid percentage, just like they do alcohol in some states. And its a lot harder to limit thc production in a living plant than it its to halt fermentation or distillation.
And even then theres been massive lawsuits about cbd weed being confiscated until proven it has no thc, even though its on a manifest. The weed ends up molding or drying out and the original product is wasted.

We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin. And then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities,” Ehrlichman said. “We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”

What it needs to mean is a complete revision of prison policy and the release of several individuals. Alabama is currently in the process of building multiple prisons when in fact, they could probably empty half of the prison population as it sits. Most arrest may in Alabama or for simple possession. That is now the norm in many states. We really have to fix the cannabis policies. They affect everybody in different ways. It is unbelievable that somebody can go to prison in a state for mandatory sentencing and literally beyond a cooking show in another state. This is beyond Discrimination and beyond state versus federal conversations. It is a question of humanity and inequality.

What rescheduling marijuana means to the cannabis industry:
It means pharmaceutical companies are now cleared to produce and sell product nationally, before any other small or private businesses have the opportunity to go national.

This is going to screw all of the people who are opening recreational dispo's and maybe even the medical places. I would bet money on it. We will be extremely lucky to be able to still grow it ourselves. This was a masterful move on their marijuana eradication efforts. They thought this through.
