Domtar

On November 29, 2018, Mid-Continent Railway Museum took delivery of its latest acquisition. Domtar #1001 is an EMD NW2 diesel switch engine built in 1949 for the Arkansas & Louisiana Missouri Railway. It was later renumbered to 1001 and would go on to become Georgia Pacific #1001 and then Domtar #1001. It was used at Domtar's paper mill in Nekoosa, WI until retired in 2016.
