Sorry for reuploading this video, but IOC blocked the last one. Redone some parts and added some new footage, hopefully this time it stays untouched.

I remember two 90s fighting games both made by SNK who each had a character named after her and used the judo fighting style.
    -World Heroes had Ryoko Izumo
    -Fighter's History had Ryoko Kano

This has nothing to do with Tawara, but do you know the following?
A few months ago,Olympic representative in the 90kg Shoichiro Mukai uploaded a video to
his youtube channel of him smoking an e-cigarette and chatting with Naohisa Takato
who is representative in the 60kg
When Joshiro Maruyama's dad Kenji saw the video, he criticized Mukai for not behaving
in a manner befitting an Olympic representative
This enraged Mukai and he uploaded a rap video titled f--k Maruyama!
    There he raps the following
*Hey,Ya piece of s--m! I'm gonna drag ya around*
*Ya son Joshiro will be laughed at for ya antagonism to me*
*Ya can't find out who I am by poking around in my life!*
Can you believe that an Olympic athlete uploaded such a vile video?
The public came down hard on him, However his boss Jun Konno
gave him a bit of a lecture, but nothing more
he deleted the video as soon as he was condemned by the public
He's been a notoriously troubled guy, as evidenced by the fact that he got expelled from
Judo club for repeated violation of discipline when he was a university student
By the way,his sister Natsumi was high school judo vice champion in the 57kg
She then tried Sambo and No-Gi Grappling
After some success, she retired to get married
He might even become a MMA fighter after he retires from Judo
He's already working on Kick Boxing
I'd like to add another case
That was the stupidest thing that ever happened to Fujigakuen High School Judo club in 2019
That club is now nation's top high school girls' Judo team
Kokoro Fujishiro (national junior vice champion in the 52kg) and another girl were repeatedly violent
towards the member of the club whom they loathed
She couldn't stand the violence and ran away from Fujigakuen
She then sued them and the case came to light
Fujigakuen denied their violent behaviors, but their papers were sent to the prosecutors office
Anyway, all Japan Judo federation has always stressed the moral value of Judo
Nevertheless, they haven't been able to educate their players properly
We often hear about physical violent acts by male players
On the other hand, that of female players is rare
But as far as I know, there is one other case
Clarisse Agbegnenou assaulted and injured Anne Fatoumata M'Bairo
After they vehemently argued over a boy friend at the Insep in 2013
As a result, Agbegnenou was fined by the court
Note that Priscilla Gneto, Fanny-Estelle Posvite and Madeleine Malonga were also at the scene
French Wikipedia doesn't mention it, but Japanese Wikipedia does in detail
Did you know about this case?

Haven't heard of any of these stories, unfortunately very few of these stories surface in English speaking media. It's a real shame when anyone does things like that, let alone Olympic level athletes. Really gutted to hear about such behavior.

    • @ArpMadore1
      @ArpMadore1 Před 3 lety

Mukai is such a terrible guy
Many people said he should be left out of the Olympic team
Takato is also far from a good guy
He was demoted from the National team's A rank to B rank
due to repeated discipline violations in 2014
As I'm sure you've noticed, he's an undignified guy who's quick to sulk
whenever something goes wrong in the contest
Additionally, even that Ono got punished for beating up his university junior in 2013
The only really honest person on the men's Olympic team is probably Nagase
On the other hand, With the exception of attention seeker Abeshi,
women's Olympic team members are all modest ones

@@ArpMadore1 Hi, do you know any stories about Hashimoto Soichiro? I don't know much about his personal life, but in competition he looks like a bit arrogant and unsportsman-like

    • @ArpMadore1
      @ArpMadore1 Před 3 lety

As you said, Hashimoto is arrogant on the Tatami, no doubt about it
In that respect, he's in the same league as Takato
Hashimoto was demoted from rank A to rank B on the national team in 2018 due to disciplinary infractions
The reason for this was that he invited an acquaintance into the accommodation of the National Training Center without permission
It's said that this acquaintance is his girlfriend
