      ​@@EquiveronNo response, not good. This type of cancer has a very low life expectancy of 20-30 months.

      @@venomx4093 My husband is now in the second year after treatment. He had the gene mutation and doctors ntold him the reason was the cisplatine treatment 9 years ago. So in order to survive cancer, he got another cancer. I hope it is all over now .

    I was diagnosed with CMML in 2014, but have no gene mutations identified. My GP has categorized this as an MDS. I have been on Hydrea since diagnosis to keep the monocyte count in check and I have remained stable. As was mentioned, this is treating the symptoms more so than the actual disease. But I'm seeing conflicting information about having CMML with zero gene mutations. Based on latest thoughts of this would my diagnosis potentially be different? And do I need to worry about the effect of long term use of Hydrea on my organs?

      Same scenario with my father in law, no mutation is there, what is the prognosis

      @@crazyloop84 my dad was Diagnosed with cmml 1-2 in February this year. He went to the Doctor because of extreme tiredness and rashes on his arms and upper body. He also had night sweat
