- Hello! I borrowed a Blue Yeti microphone so in this video I'll be testing out a lot of different sounds and triggers, including up-close whispering, mic brushing, hand movements and hand sounds, mouth sounds, ice cube sounds, crinkling, tapping, and more!

I'm loving the chill quality of this Blue Yeti and the soothing tone of your voice, you could also try a dim lighting video: like an evening whisper rant/life update video with candles in the background. I could literally listen to your voice like this for hours. Please keep uploading more, I feel comfortable sleeping to your vids :)

Wow! The quality of this video was really great, loved the ear to ear whispering! I find that whispering is also my favorite trigger, and when it's binaural it's even better! But i will still continue to enjoy your "regular" videos without the blue yeti, just looking forward to you bringing it at home :)

I would recommend some sound deadening foam or panels to reduce background noise. They do a great job and can be fairly inexpensive compared to getting more equipment.
One major downside though is thermoregulation. It can cause some pretty good heat build up when it's up. However, since it acts as an insulator, whatever room it is in won't be affected by outside heat as quickly, but once it does it will retain that heat quite well. Interior heat sources (even body heat) can heat a room quite quickly without ventilation.
Sound deadening foam is not the same as sound isolating foam, I would say, they both have certain aspects that they might share, but sound dampening/deadening is not the same as stopping outside noise from coming in, it's to stop sound from bouncing of every surface whereas sound-isolation material is meant to stop the passage of sound through contact.

Is your “main” mic the Blue Snowball or do you use others too/ have you used others too? If so: I’ve been wanting to get it, but you say it picks up alot of white noise. Thoughts?
Thank you so much ♥️ yes I've always used the blue snowball and it used to be pretty decent for its price, especially if you live in a quiet place but recently mine got an annoying high pitch sound in it and picks up too much noise in my room, but I'm pretty sure mine just got old

Chaeri ASMR I think they mean that when you are brushing the left side of the mic, the sound is coming from the right side of the headphones and vise versa

7:30 Heb je een laptop? Zo ja, is het probleem dan ook nog aanwezig als je de laptop van de netspanning haalt? (Als het probleem veranderd, controleer dan eens of er andere USB apparaten die een netvoeding gebruiken aangesloten zijn en ontkoppel die ter test ook eens).
Als je een desktop computer hebt, is deze dan goed geaard? (Geaard stopcontact en alles). Het nog degelijker aarden dan aanvankelijk het geval was nam het probleem bij mij niet volledig weg, maar het werd wel minder (USB-geluidskaart, geen USB-microfoon). Ik schroefde bij mij een extra aarddraad aan mijn computerkast die ik bovendien ook contact liet maken met een beschadigd stukje metaal voor extra goed contact, en maakte die draad vast aan de aardklem van een verder lege stekker.
Mocht het probleem blijven bestaan: je zou misschien wel eens last kunnen hebben van lichtnet-vervuiling, iets dat een steeds groter probleem aan het worden is.
