If one reads the phrase "...Mendelssohn’s only Concerto for violin and orchestra in E minor, Op. 64,..." as "Mendelssohn’s only Concerto for violin and (full) orchestra in E minor" then it is correct. However if one reads it as "Mendelssohn’s only Concerto for violin and orchestra" then it is incorrect; Mendelssohn wrote a concerto in D minor for violin and strings in 1822.
