Gilmour completed short tours of Europe in September and October 2015 and South America in December 2015 to support the album, with a similar tour of the United States and Canada following in March and April 2016
The tour became a commercial success, grossing $47 million
Most of the venues on the first European leg of the tour were at Roman amphitheatres.
Gilmour also played the Royal Albert Hall as his only UK venue of the tour. He also played the historic Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, having last performed there with Pink Floyd in 1972

I went to a concert from this tour in são Paulo, Brazil, on december 12th 2015. I can surely say that was the most amazing day of my life. I can find no words to describe that feeling.
I've seen the YT videos from that concert, the audience is seen up close and it's great to see the emotion on the faces, looked like a fantastic concert. Lucky you

I picked up the guitar when I was 6 years old, I was a "metal head". And after years of playing 16th notes, at a 260 tempo etc, etc, I was burning out on "technical" playing. But then came Floyd/Gilmour in 1998, when I was 14 years old. I'd heard the normal radio played songs, but discovered the boxes and boxes of records that my parents had left me when they separated: I'll never forget hearing "In The Flesh" for the first time on pristine vinyl, and that was truly when my life changed forever. I wasn't used to playing something that I could FEEL! And the rest is history. I'm sorry this was long, and can blame no one for not reading, but for those who did, thank you, as Pink Floyd changed and shaped my life in ways, that by far transcend music; I'm a rare case, in a sea of millions of rare cases, and I'm incredibly interested in other people's stories, about how Floyd has changed and shaped their lives. HDPinkFloyd, I can never thank you enough for your incredible posts, and am forever indebted to you: Shine On forever my friend!

I was at the show at Madison Square Garden on this tour. About 13 rows back on the floor. I've seen ALOT of concerts in my life, but this was hands down the best. Hoping when this pandemic is over with, we'll get another tour. I will be there.
I saw him in Los Angeles in 2016 (at the Forum) and it was fabulous. I do think he is done touring though.

I don't have too many regrets in life, but surely one of them is not making the 8 hour drive to go see David during this tour. "Nah, it's too long of a drive," I said. What an idiot I was.
Well.. it kind of is a long drive if your only purpose is to see a concert, like Leave at 11am for an 8pm concert, just to drive home at 10pm when the concert is over... IF you're gonna do that, then you gotta go there for like a 2 day vacation and do other things to make it worth it.
Like you, I'm hoping I will get the chance before too long. A friend introduced me to the music of Pink Floyd in the 70's. I have this wonderful memory of painting the outside of my first house to their music along with the Eagles and Steely Dan; it was a special summer with gorgeous weather.
Since then I have dreamed of seeing them live. I usually listen to On an Island and Rattle that Lock when walking in the Cornish countryside, but, having watched this terrific video, I have to say I'd very much enjoy David Gilmour in concert.
