You talking about influencers with questionable behavior reminds me of the conversation we recently had about influencers being blamed for overconsumption. Those are the type of scammy influencers I was talking about. I'll reiterate that I think people are ultimately responsible for their own actions, but a lot of these people lie to their audience. So if I'm on the hunt for a specific product and influencers are recommending something saying all of these great things about the product just to make money, then that is part of the problem. Because now we're buying shitty products based on their recommendations just for the product to be tossed in the trash, and we end up back on the hunt and having to buy more. There are people out here recommending a different face cream every other week, claiming it transformed their skin when really these people are just lying to make money. Many of us look to influencers for genuine recommendations for one product, not because we want to buy everything brands put out. So yeah, I'm still kinda in the middle on that whole conversation.

The reformulated ones smell so synthetic 😢 I worked at the fragrance counter in the 80s at Filenes! I only watch content creators who are authentic. Veronica... I'm in my 40s and had to go digging how Appalachian is pronounced. 😅😅😅 I've never heard it that way. Basically it's regional from what I gather. Northern says LAY while southern (and Google) says LATCH ... There are some that even say LAYKIN. Ya learn something new everyday. Back to the video!

Veronica... I'm in my 40s and had to go digging how Appalachian is pronounced. 😅😅😅 I've never heard it that way. Basically it's regional from what I gather. Northern says LAY while southern (and Google) says LATCH ... There are some that even say LAYKIN. Ya learn something new everyday. Back to the video!
