      She had to. It's exposure for their artists. She's a regular guest in the show and she's a business woman, that's why she can utilize every little bit of chance she can promote her company and services to the public. Free advertisements LOL

      Regardless of her reason for doing so, I believe that for any company, that the guy at the top should put in time to visit those at the lower levels of the company. Often times, even if a CEO is really good and is a decent human being, those who work for them in the middle can be abusive to those below them. As such, it is important for the CEO, someone who represents the company, to see that things at the bottom are what they're reported to be. Case in point the lack of food in JXR's refrigerator. It's very obvious that they aren't really taken care of as best as they should be, especially if you add the fact that Yuri IS a model. Models aren't supposed to be eating crappy foods that can affect their bodies negatively.

      it's nice to Korean CEOs are more vigiliant and aware of their employees and even think to visit their lodging to see their condition. on top of the fact that they actually seem to treat them out for lunch often and consistently. definitely not a thing in the States. that happens like once a year maybe at the end of the year for a Christmas company dinner if that.

    • @ogkpopkommentary119
      @ogkpopkommentary119 Před 4 lety +9

      @@ona907 I'm sure -- what does it matter? She's treating them well, as she should, because they said earlier in the show that the idol entertainment/venture they have is bringing them a lot more lucrative profits and income compared to the model side of the company. it's a win-win for everyone that this gets aired. Promotion for the duo so that new fans can get into them and are aware they have debuted, which equals a stronger loyalty/fan base. Which then translates to demand for more shows/performances by them. They get more brand deals, the company sees the rise of their status and upgrades their living & pay. Tee more popular they are the more is added to the bottom line of the company. When it works, capitalism is nice for all to a point. Obviously she's using this opportunity to promote them on her tv show. It's a smart move and missed opportunity/revenue if she didn't.

If we look at the physical album sales their debut sold 43.300 copies, but their first comeback sold 27.276 copies, that's almost 50% drop. They then go to hiatus and debut Pristin V sub unit, which sadly sold 18.301 copies, even lower then before. Pledis then decided to disband the group after almost 2 years.

    “We need two group per year”
    CEO kim let’s be honest, you need to focus on JxR first, at least until they’re a little better known and have enough fans. hire a good music producer, a well-known choreographer, stable promotion. Make a song that many people like. All you need right now is not to debut a new group, but to improve the quality of the group you have. I knew that you’re a fashion company so you more focus on idol’s fashion, but they’re idol a group who dance and sing in the same time not a model, they should make a good song to draw people’s attention.

    I think what JxR could work on is to highlight their fashion branding together with their music. This could mean better visuals in their MVs and live stages that can highlight their fashion better, choreos that enhance their styles, more collabs with fashion brands and incorporate trendiness as a wow factor. Instead of pursuing everything that has been done by other idols before, they should create and establish their own colour. In my opinion, a really good song is needed first, and only then they should leverage on other aspects. If SM can oversee them, that'd be a really great strategy to sustain them too.

    This is the difference where the directors only can be directors but the CEO remains at the top of the supremacy. CEO Kim works on idealism. She undergoes trials and errors without estimating risks involved. Dare to dream, but dare to fight. This is the difference where most people are more realistic and cannot hold risks longer.

    Is that Secret Number the second group she was planned? Or did Vine Ent debut Secret Number by themself with help from Esteem on financial support? Because I'm surprised by how a small company like Vine could spend a lot of money on Secret Number's project like the MV, promotion, professional composer like Melanie Fontana, professional choreographer like Bae Yoon Jung, and all of those branded outfits on every stage performances. I'm asking because somehow I could see a lot of CEO Kim's passions on Secret Number. Like they wear fancy and stylish outfits, their training duration (they debuted in 2 years, while so many agencies would take 4-5 years), and the member's unique and distinct personalities (you know CEO Kim desperately always wants something different). Anyway, I love CEO Kim's personality. She's such as an inspiration. I would subscribe if she create her own youtube channel.. :)

      @@chan-kaori-1867 i don't think so, VINE ent. itself is independent company in idols bussines. JxR is under ESVINE which is colaboration between ESTEEM and VINE for handeling JxR career, because Yuri is Esteem's model while Baekjin is Vine's. Thats why two company makes colaboration to makes JxR debut. Secret Number I believe is under VINE ent only, so I think SN isn't part of Esteem nor Esvine. If you look up for artist under VINE ent. you only can find SN and other artist as well but you can't find JxR, so I believe that JxR isn't directly under VINE or ESTEEM, but under both company as colaboration form.
