EC, I really appreciate you doing these interviews with the older guys and sharing them and your friendship with the rest of us. It's a pleasure to meet these people and see their enjoyment and enthusiasm 🤙
Shiraz has held the world record in long-distance shooting for his fabulous moustache over the past 20 years. Many have attempted to strip it from his grasp, however, none have been worthy. FYI he also owns Grizzly Tool and they carry some decent stuff. He's done a whole lot for the gunsmithing lathe/mill world.
Awesome series brother, you never get access to the top people in sports. You've got me hooked. I'm getting some mr-1fc targets and taking my 6mm creedmoor out on my next day off.
Erik, just saw your video with Shiraz Balolia. I was so impressed with that guy. I started a business just like he did from nothing 38 years ago. We just purchased a piece of equipment from his company Grizzly Industries because of the impression you guys made on me--let Shiraz know if you can.
A truly great interview Erik. The major takeaway was attitude. How you feel about your performance during competition is the most important thing. For you, your pointed it out. For Shiraz it was a self revelation. However you learn it, doing what you are supposed to be doing, shooting accurately, is the most important thing and worrying about points is a waste of time.
Erik, I really enjoyed this video and the personal discussions you both had other than shooting. Since I love research (legal), I decided to learn about Grizzly Industries. On CZcams, I would suggest seeing "Honoring a Friend" and the "History of Grizzly Industries, Inc." It will be worth your time if you have not done so. His approach in his vocation is the same as in shooting.
Another great conversation! One comment though - all these great shooters and not one yet has mentioned whether or not they've tried a Bullet Genie or a Juenke machine...can you address whether those are in use? Have you used one? Thanks in advance. And again, great content with these interviews.
The more of these I see, the more I want to see. Thanks Erik, Shiraz!

Erik, you should make these interviews into a podcast series. You’d make a heck of a podcaster! Thanks for doing these interviews sir!

Shooting lessons for sure! Life lessons more so! This interview has been my most favorite so far! Thanks Erik

awesome interview! I’ve got a shop full of Grizzly products! I had no idea that Grizzly was Shiraz’ company. Super knowledgeable guy!
I think the secret is due to the epic mustache.
Legend has it if that stache ever gets shaved he shoots like the common man. It’s true
