@1:50 Stupa is to enshrine religious significant artefacts. Buddhist worship Stupa for what is inside it. There are nothing to do with the cycle of birth. That is depicted by some other imagery.
Yep, totally agree. I was scratching my head what on earth is he talking about? I am a buddhist so was wondering whether the westerners were taught a whole different version of Buddhism.

at 3:50. Please for the sake of actual Buddhists and others who are still learning Buddhism, do not spread misinformation. If you are not 100% certain, then don't say anything.
The snake is the replica of "Muchalinda Naaga Raaja". Muchalinda is the name of a naga sheltering Lord Buddha from the elements after his enlightenment. When a storm raged and torrential rain fell for a whole week, the king of the nagas, Muchalinda, rose from the earth, coiling its body to form a seat and swelled its great hood to shelter Lord Buddha.
This is nothing to do with the demon Mara. The actual story goes like this: Lord Buddha prior to his enlightenment was sitting under the Bodhi tree when demon Mara launched his attack to make Lord Buddha leave his seat thus preventing him from attaining enlightenment. Mara then sent his 3 daughters named, Tanha, Rathi, and Raaga (thirst, desire and delight), to seduce Lord Buddha but to no avail.
The 3 heads of the snake don't represent the 3 daughters of demon Mara. I don't know from where you learned that but that's incorrect.

@@wilkowanders Sorry if I came across hot-headed and snobbish, but I had to point it out. One of my major pet peeves is misinformation regarding a highly-sensitive topic such as religion being spread out via social media, as it could lead to unnecessary conflicts.
