This story was happened in Belagaum district, Savadatti ( Yellammana Gudd) still there’s a famous temple is there and during winter ( Poornima) a fair is organized here in which pilgrims of 4 states( Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra and Tamilnadu) and thousands of NRIs visit here. I am from Dubai and I visit every year this temple. Udho Udho Yellamma devi 🙏🙏🙏

Wow! This is so beautiful and again reaffirms that India is one. We have a temple here in Himachal sri renuka ji temple along with sri parashurama and sri yamdagni temples. The temple has a lake. The aerial view of the lake looks like a woman lying on the ground. It is believed that the moment parashurama killed her she transformed into a lake before she was again brought back.
