What's good about selling DVDs is they are always available no matter where you go and they are inexpensive and if you buy any doubles that saves time as you've already got an idea on the selling price. Keep up the great work!

Adding free shipping makes them move fairly quickly. I do very good with movies from the 50's and 60's. Thanks for your great videos!

But how would you suggest handling the situation if the staff are cranky or not happy if they see us doing this. Should I just leave the store and they lost my business? I'm learning BluRays right now. I found 2 BluRays for $2 each. Sold 1 for $29.99 and the other for $19.99. After fee's and shipping and store fee is $26.34. Minus the original cost of goods leaves me with $22 profit. If I count the envelops I shipped them in its roughly $21 profit. Definitely not worth selling anything below $10.

It would take forever and a day to do this method with their lot. I think to do their 1000's of DVD, you would have to know most of what you want before going there! I know things might of changed since this video but a couple questions:
I assume you dont need stamps with that tracked envelope?
Do you just send them in the red post office boxes around or go into the actual post office to send it? Because does tracking activate sooner that way?
I've just started using padded mailers and 2 stamps for most dvds, but do you think the tracked letter is worth it for the bit extra money? And never had any get damaged etc in those envelopes?
Just cause if something sells for like $10, then could be making like $3-$4 profit, idk if thats worth the time 🤷‍♂️
Reselling isnt my job or anything either and live in beach town near port Macquarie, not like a city with more stores etc, so i dont have tons of inventory to sell. More just doing a little that i can to help pay the bills really.
Sorry for the long message lol 😅 this channel is very helpful though being an Aussie

I think you could create a video on how to use sold listings to identify DVDs of value. Having sold DVDs for some time. I follow and check other successful DVD resellers. Use a known high-value DVD check who sold it and what else they have sold. Create a list. Much more time-efficient than scanning 600 DVDs.

Hi there. I found myself in the toy section of an aisle in my local coles last week. I was in it for about an hour, fiddling around with the Lego muppets miniatures they had on sale. They’re selling them for $4 and an individual item goes on to sell on eBay for around $12-$19. So although a small profit, it all adds up. I did this with DVD’s in one of my local op shops last week too. It’s really interesting to me to see what actually sells, compared to what I thought might sell well. Huge gap between what I thought compared with reality. I went with reality! 😂 Thank you for teaching me this and so so much more!! 🤗❤️🤗

I sold $13k worth of DVDs just like these last financial year. The Aussie market has a demand for DVDs atm so I think it’s a great category to buy! A number of the DVDs in this video have gone on to sell already. The $10+ DVDs are slightly higher in value to the average and generally sell quicker for this reason. That’s why it’s important to source the more valuable DVDs over the common lower priced ones as they don’t typically move. Finally, people collect DVDs like they collect vinyl records etc. there’s plenty of motives other than just watching the movie or tv show. Hope all that helps

I first saw you with Harry Tornado and his wife! Then I have watched probably seven more of your videos! I'm impressed! I will be subscribing to you! I hope you get a lot of subscribers off Harry and the gentleman from LAS!! I hope you get back to Australia safely!! 🤗♥️🙏🏼

Are the 10c bubble pouches too much to slip inside your tracked envelope?

Love your work. I’ve started the dvd hustle, sick of watching the money you are making and not doing it myself 😂. First I sold a bunch of old ps4 games I had in the cupboard - got $80 profit (after postage), grabbed 10 dvds ($10) from the local op shop and have listed them today. I think I was a little too picky and for some reason I felt like I needed to be quick at the op shop so I didn’t get many - next time I’m going to set up camp there and scan every dvd like you did in this vid. Your vids are great, very informative but also fun. Your passion and excitement for this hustle is fun to watch and I have found it very motivating.
