I can't wait for tree houses and kids biking. It would be cute if toddlers could get a trike to ride but that's probably a stretch.
Now all we need are cars and then I can teach my teen sims to drive

One of the sim gurus already said the home video was strictly for the trailer. ☹️ but never the less I’m so freaking excited I’ve had to go to other hobbies because I can’t find myself any reason to play the sims 😂 I also had to restart my mod folder 🥲 anyways I hope you’re okay take all the time you need love you so much🫶🏽

San Sequoia gets its name from the Great Sequoia trees which are found in Northern California. Great Sequoias are a type of Redwood tree. There is a place near San Fransisco called the Redwood Forest. There are no Great Sequoias in the Redwood Forest as far as I know, but the connection to San Fransisco is there. The name Sequoia is pronounced seh-KOI-yah.
The Coast Redwoods near San Francisco are the species Sequoia sempervirens, different species but related to the Giant Sequoias in the mountains. 😊

As a kid all I remember knowing was that there were Redwoods in the Bay Area, mostly near San Fransisco, which was far enough away that I rarely saw them, but that the Great Sequoias while related to them were not found there. As a result the Great Sequoias were the special ones in my mind, because they were the ones that weren’t local (I’m from the Greater Bay Area, though I do not currently live there). Also, I love the way Sequoia sounds, so that also made it stand out to me as the coolest one.
It's also the name given to the author of the Cherokee alphabet
21, 22 and 23 are definitely hinting on a memory system which im here for, ive always wanted more depth to relationships and a memory system/attraction system is important imo

Unfortunately one of the Sim Gurus confirmed the video cameras will not be in the new pack 😢
The balloon blowing looked like a prank that you can do to sims that are asleep. Also, Maxis already confirmed that it was not a recording and that video cameras are not making a comeback. As for the Tooth Fairy, when the teasers came out someone made a joke that we'd be getting a Tooth Beary (as in, the Tooth Fairy would be a bear because it was a molar bear) and you can see a bear plushie wearing a fairy costume in the trailer (at the back, when the toddler is giving the infant a raspberry). I will laugh if it's actually the Tooth Beary.
i am so excited for the baby showers. it would have been fun to have a gender reveal event too
They kind of do already if you become a doctor. If you keep getting promotions in the doctor career you can have a interaction called "determine gender" or something like thst
@@taylorlipinski4048 i have tried that feature before and although it’s cool to be able to determine other sims babies gender, i believe you cannot determine your own sims babies gender i’ve tried before and it didn’t work for me. i think it would be so much fun to have an event where you can do fun activities of some sort to determine what gender your sim is having. and maybe even have moodlets whether your sims is happy or not with the gender they’re having. idk i just think a gender reveal event would have tied well in this pack.
@@triciathody1641 I agree! It is kind of tedious becoming a doctor just to figure out the babies gender so a gender reveal party would be cool to have
unfortunately we know the video camera was just a marketing thing, like how they used a social media template when marketing snowy escape but nothing related in the pack. still excited tho! your family game play is about it be next level

the baby quirk mechanic seems like a replica of the celebrity quirks from get famous, so to me it makes sense that it would be a pack exclusive. changing tables might be like washing machines or vacuums i guess? but they might also have a basic version in base game and then cuter iterations for the pack, like the basic bassinet but the cute ones from the magic and werewolf packs. i think i'm most looking forward to new lot types!
I am wondering if the new movie theater will give us more with the fame and acting system. Like we can actually go to Premieres for our sim's movies and stuff. Or see our movies in theaters with family, etc.
I really want to see a lot of new toys for the kids and younger! Like I miss the toy oven, normal teddy bears more playground toys ect

I am pretty sure it was said that the toddler quirks were coming in the update though, so infant quirks might as well.
Also, they confirmed that there will not be home video recording...it was just for the trailer. They need to be explicit when having trailers like that come out.

I'm kinda concerned about the mid-life crisis.
Cause I had to turn wants and fears off in my game because my sim kept getting angry/depressed when they didn't complete a wish they had. And a new wish wouldn't pop up until they completed it.
So I'm worried mid-life crisis will be the same way where my sim will be angry/ depressed for days on end until they do their wants during their mid-life crisis.
Otherwise this pack is definitely for me. But I think I'll wait to hear reviews before getting it.

I am excited about this!. It actually brings life back into the game. Due to the fact I have lost interest in the sims because of the lack of things to do, and the stories are getting boring now, but now we have a pack coming out soon., and it looks like all ages are included in this pack. It makes me super super super excited for the sims. I usually wait until the pack gets a few months old before actually buying it. Only because I want to make sure all the bugs are fix before purchasing, but this pack I can not wait months for it... This is a MUST HAVE for me. I have been waiting for ages for something like this. 😭. I am super excited too play the sims again in March., and in all honesty it makes me want to restart the entire game fresh 🤣, but it's certainly familes I grew a bond with that I don't want to lose 😩.
There are no home videos coming. It has been confirmed on twitter by a Sim Guru. Also I don't think base game infants get changing tables or the back carriers and maybe not even a playmat/ tummy time mat. I think they will get cribs, play pens, and baby gates along with toys and new cas items of course. I am looking forward to the pack and infants in general. They look so cute. I didn't know I wanted a tree house until I saw it and screamed about it. lol I am patiently waiting for March 14th. My sim is pregnant and ready to have an infant! :)

This pack is supposed to upgrade toddlers quite a bit too. I guess adding a bunch of hidden traits. I’m probably way more ecstatic about infants and baby stuff then most people but that’s just the type of gaming I like. I’m also wondering if I’m the only person holding their breath and hoping we’ll finally get functional highchairs where the toddler can’t Jedi mind trick their way out of it. I know most people are probably over it now but I would like to have a family meal where a toddler stays in the damn highchair as long as necessary for the family to finish their meal and since it’s clear infants get a high hair I’m assuming. (crossing all my fingers and toes) this upgrade will come with a fix for the toddler highchair crap it’s way way overdue.

Like, obviously tree houses ned maintenance over the years. I'd love to see senarios where something needs a fix , replacement, it becoming wilted if not used often, needing to get bees out of it.. idk, it's a small detail, but I think it would be fun. Like one generation build sthe tree house and few gens later a newer one wants to fix it up for their kids? It would be great

I hope they fix the body hair issue, I disabled them in CAS but they still appear on my fmeale teen sim, it's not just leg hair, she also get a full chest hair like men, it's disturbing.
