Probably my favourite tune on ANH ✌️
I should get away, but i would rather stay and dance
RIP Daniel Johnston
I've been listening to this track a thousand times at least. Just brilliant!
listen at least once a month, it never loses it's impact. Let's Dance, Daniel's Speeding Motorcycle and then Spread Your Wings
Nice! Dans fought a battle that some of us will never have to face being dissed for his beliefs. Jesus is the most High and J. Fucking Awesome Brother! Amen
Thank you
Thanks for the upload!
RIP
Also, he finishes with a bit of "Spread Your Wings" from Pure Phase.

that’s what I miss about recent SPRTLZD lps instrumentals on Pure Phase like Electric Phase & Electric Mainline that’s practically filtered through the whole lp it’s immense & so is The Power & Glory from Amazing Grace but I reckon Age & Lifestyle (you know yersel)kind of take its toll over time there’s still rockier tunes still in him but their getting less each lp and it’s more Ballads but missing that original sound & not quite(The Ballad of Richie Lee) standard which is a stonewall classic imo! Disappointed with only 9 Tunes which is the biggest letdown of all, I’m now praying(I’m an atheist) that he’s got another lp in him, which I think he could do if he got some former Members and done it as a Band again instead of JP doing all the Lyrics Strings, Horns, Arrangements the Production the whole damn Record, the more there are the more input & these guys played on arguably their best lps Mark Refoy, Will Carruthers, Kevin Bales, Tony “Doggen” Foster, Sean Cook, Tim Lewis, John Coxon even Dr John, it’s gotta be worth a try cos he’s gotta be utterly drained both physically & mentally & getting say 3/4 of them back in the Studio make some demos play it live then tinker with the original sound in studio get some of the old psychedelic tones in either that or it’s his last SPRTLZD LP cos Spaceman & Sonic are gonna blow the bollox off rock n roll music by reforming Spacemen 3, doubtful, but we can all dream?!! ✌️😎
