Wow, same here... there were a lot of scenes in movies which made people around me laughing briefly but disturbed me for days, weeks or even months. This scene was one of them. This happens to me until today, the last time I had this problem with a horrible scene in "Nope", I even had to take sedatives for the first days after it. I'm very careful nowadays with movies because I tend to overthink the situation and empathize with people in scenes like this waaaaay too much.
