What a shame you didn't show a complete and ordered look at the place as a whole and moving through the spaces. We didn't really need the typewriter time, no matter how artsy it looked. It was like watching a designer talk about haute couture but never showing the garment in its entirety, just an armpit seam or a piece of hemline.
There is a Neutra house down the road from me and it is a modern marvel of design. I am in Stamford CT so you can imagine how surprised I was to find that one of his houses was in my neighborhood.
집도 역시 사람의 역사를 반영하는 군요... 그 사람이 어떻게 살아왔는지 말입니다... 선생님께서는 가족을 불로 잃었고 이웃과 소통만 되었으면 살았을텐데 하는 열망이 모두가 그리는 집의 구조인 그 당시 미국 주택 구조인 나무 방식을 포기하게 하셨다는군요... 불에 강하고 오픈되었고.. 소리가 들리는...무슨 일이 일어나는 지 알 수 있는 집을 원하셨답니다... 선생님께서는 그런 곳이 사람이 머무는 집이랍니다... 세상 모든게 그렇듯이요... 모든 사람의 선호가 꼭 자신의 니즈를 반영하는건 아니겠지요.. 집도 그렇답니다... 개인적으로 자연과 가깝고 소통을 중시하는 건 제 니즈에 맞지만 지나치게 오픈되어 있는 건 다르군요.. 틀림이 아니라 다름입니다... 집을 지을 때는 그러니까 고객의 역사와 니즈를 반영하는 게 중요할 듯 싶습니다... 개인적인 평화와 안식과 쉼이 있는 곳이 바로 집이란 보금자리이니까요... 선생님의 고견 잘 듣고 보고 갑니다... 감사합니다... 햇살이 내내 선생님 댁에 평화와 안정을 가져오길 소망해봅니다... ㅇWㅇ....응.....ㅎ 2023.10.14.토
