  • Dear Mercedes-Benz and e-mobility fans,
I am really proud to present to you my latest catch. I was able to try the smallest Mercedes Plug-In Hybrid vehicle, the A250e.
This car is equipped with both a conventional combustion engine with 4 cylinders, as well as with an electric engine powered by a Lithium-Ion battery.
In a PHEV the advantages of both drive trains can be combined to a lot of driving pleasure at a positive impact for the environment given one charges a lot of green power. This combination offers a combined 218hp.
Please sit back, relax and enjoy the ride! :)
    Cheers,
    nolde10
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class is a subcompact executive car (regular subcompact in its first two generations) produced by the German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. The first generation (W168) was introduced in 1997, the second generation model (W169) appeared in late 2004 and the third generation model (W176) was launched in 2012. The fourth generation model (W177), which was launched in 2018, will mark the first time the A-Class is offered in the United States and Canada. This fourth generation A-Class will also be the first to be offered both as a hatchback (W177) and sedan (V177).
Originally produced only as a five-door hatchback in 1997, the second generation W169 introduced a three-door hatchback. In the markets where the A-Class is or has been sold, it has represented the entry level model for Mercedes-Benz. Having grown by 68 cm (27 in) since the original model, the 2012 third generation A-class was longer than the first-generation B-class. And although sometimes referred to by fans as the 'Baby Benz', Mercedes themselves actually use that moniker for the 1982 Mercedes 190 (W201), their first compact executive car model.
The W177 Mercedes-Benz A-Class is the fourth and current generation of the A-Class range of subcompact executive hatchbacks and sedans. It was launched in 2018 as the successor to the W176 A-Class, with sales commencing in March 2018. The available bodystyles include:
    • 5-door hatchback (W177 model code)
    • 4-door sedan (V177 model code)
    • 4-door long wheelbase sedan (Z177, only sold in China)
It is sold in Europe and Canada, in hatch form.
In mid-2020, the Production of North American A-Class Sedan was returned to Rastatt, Germany due additional production capacity of GLB crossover.
The W177 A-Class comes as standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, keyless ignition, and LED daytime running lights.
All models feature the new Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system with a redesigned touch interface and voice-controlled smart assistant that is activated by saying "Hey Mercedes". MBUX also contains what3words functionality as standard. It is also able to offer quick shortcuts to menus based on the past habits of the user. The system is also optionally available with an augmented reality navigation system that records and displays directional arrows on the road in the navigation system.

How do you have 528 km of petrol range? I have the same car and on a refill totally full max it's 370-400km

    Hi,
Thanks for the video! What is the acceleration like if you use purely the combustion engine? I imagine quicker than the pure electric?

    • @nolde10

Hey, you cannot use only the combustion engine. There will always be an electric boost! :)

@@vascocarreira89 you always have some charge because of the regenerative breaking, and it convert excess torque from the engine into electricity or someting. When in sports mode, it also uses more fuel to make sure there is at least 5% of battery charge so you have the electric boost.
I do feel like it has more power when its fully charged tho, it feels more responsive at least

En fait je roule très doucement et en plus j'ai filmé cela en été, car quand il fait plus chaud ca donne plus d'autonomie. Je ne vis pas en montagne non plus d'ailleurs.

@@nolde10 I love it! The only thing i can complain about is the range reduction when it gets below -10 °C. I live in Sweden. This was the first winter with it and got 35-40 km range on full electric. Still better than 99% of all the other plug-in hybrids. It is about +8 °C today and got 64 km range, big differens! I have traveled over 84 km (pure electric) on one singel charge which is insane. It is almost 10 km more than what mercedes official range. As i said before, i love it!

@@Mooorino Wow that sounds great that you are also as satisfied as I am! However, I experienced the same thing wehen it got so cold here in Germany this winter. @@nolde10 Sadly, the car salesman did not tell me that the DC charger was a stand alone upgrade. I tought it was standard in 250e. I would have bought it without a doubt. Rly big mistake from the salesman. Except from that mistake, its almost fully loaded. Polar white, AMG-pack, night pack, Burmester, panorama sunroof, parking pack, premium tech pack (not premium +).
