- Join us as we visit M&D's theme park in Motherwell just south of Glasgow in Scotland
The park is family friendly with a good collection of kids rides and has 5 rollercoasters

That's my home park, it's not amazing but it's ok for what it is. It's always quiet there which is a plus.

We got stuck on the mad mouse it was so scary because we had to go down the stairs

NEROVITA wait actually Scotland has I believe 3-4 theme parks but this is the largest the other parks have like less then 15 rides
The Tornado derailed and crash into a kid ride thing next to it and now its been taken down I think Sadly it’s Scotland’s only theme park which is really shit we use to have others but they closed down I remember going to loudoun castle theme park when I was little it was near Glasgow and it was really good then it got shut down
Emmerdale Robron it was the Tsunami Rollercoaster that derailed and got taken down, Tornado is still there

I live in Scotland and I live far away from Glasgow over in Fife, I personally think Scotland needs more parks. I've been here before and it was a fun day!
I'm very luck too live in Glasgow, and I'm going tomorrow! If you are ever up near here, defo should come! I agree, Scotland needs more theme parks :)

It’s always quiet in M&Ds man. Pretty crap compared to the merlin parks, but good for families. Shame they got rid of the invert, my first coaster with an inversion ever. I once fainted after tornado, and I agree about the crap dodgers.
Also they change the layout and rides so much it’s more like a fair. I hate that they got rid of space too after like one year. The food is amazing though.
AJ Faller I’m glad they got rid of the invert (Tsunami) after that awful accident, in my opinion the park should have been closed down after that, the park is outdated and has the worst rides in the UK
Coaster Crazy I liked tsunami. One of my favourites but after the accident. Hell no. You’re right, Scotland needs a new theme park, hopefully a merlin.
I can agree about the layout because I remember as a child going there and then watching this video, really is different.
Ah my local park. Yeah not the best but can't complain, good price for what you get and sadly Scotland's only proper Theme park. I will need to go back, Mad mouse and the condor are new rides for me.Yeah Tornado is by far the worst coaster I have ridden. So bad when it first appeared it had a corkscrew section that had to be removed. I will say it has great staff and its indoor sections are great but yeah would be nice to get a proper theme park up here. We have the space :D Great Vlog.

Just visited today. Run down, quiet and should not be called a theme park it's just a fun fair. Shame! I wish us scots could have a decent theme park like Alton towers, tons of people would go

Last time I went there I was 12 so 2002 and it was OK. Just looks crap now. Recently there was a serious accident there so never going back. I wish here in Scotland we had more than fun fares and M&D's.

Alex Stevenson they need something new for the park to survive in the future !! It’s a real shame because the park is actually really nice and it’s in a stunning location
A eurofighter would be a good fit, and a new drop tower. It’s a great location because it’s near Glasgow and Edinburgh! Unfortunately I never got to visit Loudoun Castle because I was too young, but I’ve had a look round the place and it’s sad to see a great theme park go to waste!

I'm proud to be Scottish as my school visits this often I love white waters (solo) mad mouse which I almost died on as I'm really tall and falling through the safety bars isn't fun runaway minecart I hated. I love m and d's :P
I'm proud to be English as we have more than 1 theme park !! I actually hated M&Ds and won't be going again, one visit was enough

Just watching a few of ur old vids did u really not rate this park well . I know it's had a bad slate rides removed and the odd accident
kkrispy2009 tbh honest the park is really nice, it’s in a stunning location and it’s not expensive for a day out, just don’t like the rides there in fact they are some of the worst rides I’ve been on ! If it was turned into a proper theme park with decent rides then it would be a really good park

I was confused with runaway minetrain cause on rcdb they said it was 2017 but im guessing they moved it around

Not really that tatty tbh in fact it's actually a pretty park it just has a bad selection of rides that are not very good !! Tornado is one of the worst coasters I've ever been on

If your young and live close by then it's ok but we live down south near Milton Keynes and it takes us 8 hours to drive there !!
