William Joseph Shields, known professionally as Barry Fitzgerald, was an Irish stage, film and television actor. He is known for The Quiet Man starring alongside Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne and Going My Way starring opposite Bing Crosby. He also appeared in How Green Was My Valley.
