I would love it if the VA would cover/allow outpatient Chiropractic care. I've been in multiple I.E.D. blasts riding in vehicles while deployed to Afghanistan. My everything hurts most days. It would be great if I could get Chiro care instead of the VA pushing drugs as a way to relieve pain.

No medical doctor will ever refer a patient to a chiropractor!! They will give you pain meds, relaxers etc. Long ago I finally got frustrated and went to a chiropractor who took 5 sessions to slowly fix my body!! Which was great! And he referred me to get a massage after my second visit! No medical doctor ever has done that for me. I find it even more interesting her chiropractor suggested to come see you. It is not about the money, it is about body, mind and soul!! Dr Johnson reminds me of my second chiropractor after I moved. He explains things, is gentle and very caring. My current chiropractor, fixed me years ago and am able to stay fixed most of the time.

im always leaning to one side or the other and hold my head slightly tilted to the left. im pretty sure it has something to due with the fact that at 18 months i fractured my collarbone even though it seems to have healed fine. ive also got very mild scoliosis. it doesnt hurt im just not standing straight

Hey Doctor Gregory! The Problem with Chiropractics are/is, that way too many Chiropractors getting Licensed, whom are No Freaking Good!!! We're live in Yukon Territories, Canada Between Whitehorse and Dawson City, So if We want to See a Decent Chiropractor I have to make an appointment at least 3 to 6 months ahead and have to Travel many Hundreds or even over a thousand Miles!!! To Places like Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Portland, , LA, Vegas, Sacramento, Victoria, Spokane, or even more South! I've seen Chiropractors that made me feel awesome, and after my 3 Spinal Surgeries it took a GS Chiropractor to help me to Get The F... out of my Wheelchair after 19 months, of Surgeries, Physio Therapy, Aqua Therapy, Massage, Psychology and Acupuncture! It was a Miracle to my Family!! But I've also seen multiple Chiropractors whom Fucked me up, made me Miserable with Pain charging an Arm & Leg! They were Phonies and they were able to scam their Chiropractic Associations to give them Licenses! So Chiropractic Associations MUS GET much much Tougher on Crooked, Phonies and Substandard Chiropractic Students and make it harder to get their Licenses to Practice! Great Videos Dr Gregory Have a Happy Thanksgiving Ours was in last Month!!!

Opioids killed my older brother. Surgery did my sister in also.... I went to the chiropractor and am still alive. I have tons of orthopedic issues but chiropractic care kept me away from surgery and dope. My brother now sits in a jar on the cabinet. I miss him...

It sounds like the medical association in Texas wants to make more money by making people come to them first like an HMO and then getting a referral. Chiropractic care is not prescription medicine nor should it be under a monopolized system like an HMO! The HMO concept to me was a failure. I had an ingrown toenail, sounds easy to fix, right? I went to the doctor first because I was in an HMO, got the referral to see a foot doctor. He cut it, and it would grow back ingrown again, and again I went through the system. 6 times! My company finally went to a PPO, where I didn't have to see a medical doctor first. I went straight to a foot doctor that I found, not only did he cut the thing but put a chemical on it in order to prevent it from growing back in. And you know what? No more ingrown toenail, and it's been 20 years! If the medical association gets their way, it wouldn't be good for patients because medical costs would go up while losing their right to pick their own doctor!
Any more news about the Texas medical board accepting insurance for chiropractic services? I saw a video last week of a child (teenage) who wrenched his back and had to go to the chiropractor in AUSTRALIA for service?

I hope that legislation passes in your favor in the state of Texas. We as humans should have the choice, the right to do what we want with “our bodies” the state or government should not have a right to say what we do with our own body. At that point it wouldn’t even be our own body anymore, it would be theirs.
