This is why I got them married in my play through of awakening, Tharja is the only character that shows an interest in Robin, even in support conversations with other characters.
Tharja is like that social outcast that seems creepy but is actually pretty nice when you get to know her.
That basically the point with her supportconversation
A lot of her lines, even in Awakening, support that she's kind of a try-hard.

@@jamostudios7596 I don't think that's 100% the case. When you look at her sprites in Awakening barely any part of her body is revealed. Even her expressions are over-the-top and clearly drawn for comedic effect rather than to draw any male gaze, especially if you compare her to other female characters in the same game. Maybe her looks play a part in her popularity, but it's only a small part considering how many other characters in the series are also designed to be attractive.
This...is actually really sweet and heartwarming. Kind of paints their entire relationship differently.

Her S support in awakening with Robin and a few other characters are actually really nice and heartwarming.
once you get a couple support on most character, tharja is actually a sweet and caring person, she just tries to hide it with that uptight attitude of her

It's been a while since I checked out Awakening, but (if you've played the game and know aspects of its lore), isn't that basically what they did to him even before he was even born? Yknow, people really dont give Tharja enough credit. She isnt just a stalker, she genuinely loves Robin and wants to keep him/her safe. Her actions are sometimes...questionable, but at the end of the day, shes just in love. Best waifu ever.

I feel like people are going to argue that this game is a spin off so it doesn't count.
I'd argue that we've had different pronunciations of the same names through different fire emblem games so it's whatever you fucking want it to be.
This conversation gives a LOT of believable credibility over why Robin, as his own person, can fall in love with Tharja in the original game. In Awakening, as well as this one, Tharja DOES help out her fellow army members and makes things better for them with her magic, even if she does use said magic for her own selfish ends too. Being a friendly and empathic person himself, Robin sees her doing these things and realizes that they're very alike in their desire to help everyone, even if her genuine heart of gold is hidden behind her flaws.
After all, would a TRUE selfish asshole help Gregor and Lon'qu come to terms with their survivor's guilt, or help Libra confront his bleak childhood memories and come out of it healed and happy? I don't think so. Robin sees her for who she truly is: a caring and loyal woman that is willing to go the extra mile for the people she connects with, with a touch of "bad girl" flavored darkness to spice things up.
THAT is why Robin/Tharja is my Fire Emblem OTP.

Accurate. That and imagine the resulting Morgan, Tharja's hexes combined with Robin's tactical brilliance. The shenanigans practically write themselves.
You know, just looking at their roles, I find it interesting. With Tharja being a Dark mage, and implied Grimeal. And Robin being a host. She's just simply taking care of Robin, and actually is genuinely loving it.
People seem to mistake the the whole lovecraftian thing of her literally in love and protecting basically her god for some yandere crap

They portray Robin a lot more alpha here. He isn't perturbed at all by Tharja and quickly gains control of the discussion where as he was really creeped out and nervous in the 3DS game. He isn't even phased by Tharja bluntly stating she's obsessed with him and even spins that back on her. It's very different feeling.
It's likely because he's much more used to Tharja's antics at this point and knows she's doing it because she cares.

I feel like Camilla comes off as a person who is actually crazy, but Tharja is more like a socially awkward, shy girl (at least more in Japanese) who just don't know how to act around people or her crush and ends up all weird and creepy, but she don't really mean it.
