Looking forward to my trip to Bogota the first time after 40 years! Won't recognise anything. Stayed in a El Chico with friends. When I travel which I do a lot, I always check out grocery stores, supermarkets and markets. First thing I do actually...You learn a lot...
You are not strange at all! Every country I have traveled to I have visited their grocery stores! It’s one of my favorite things to do. So I’m so glad that other people do it too!
Same here. Love going to grocery stores. I used to travel extensively for work. Buying groceries gave me a sense of normalcy and giving back locally.
Very good images of Bogota …! 👍🏼
I can see that is very unique city in Latin America, looks very stylish and different to other ones in the region.
I love all your videos. Going to the grocery stores are the best and enjoying all the sites.
Mi preciosa ciudad es muy hermosa, el norte parece un solo jardín!
Excelente, como siempre! I know you love grocery stores! Haha! Yo tambien!
The richest people lives out of bogota they live in the north towns next to the city as Chia and Cajica
Other do live in city buildings but got rest houses in other places for weekends like melgar thats 2 hours ago via car and is 34° meanwhile Bogotá is 17° or even some of them goes to Cartagena, Santa Martha, Villavo! Medellín! Other Rich people that are real rich people, got house in the full continent! U have miami 3 hour ago via airplane, New York 5 hours! Buenos Aires! 5, Rio, Sao Paulo 3 - 4
I really enjoy spending time in this area. Full of nice places.
Good video, thanks!
Nice video ! 🎉
great content... thank you
Love it, hope there’s a video coming on Chapinero too, loved that area when I was in Bogotá.
Great video!! On my way to Bogota soon! Thank you so much!!
The steamy head drink was at what bar?
Superb job as always. Any plans on doing a video on New York City in the near future?
Thank you Joey ☺️ hopefully this summer 🙌🏽
wow
I love it here. Try Usaquen less expensive and just as beautiful.
'Medialunas' are Argentinean pastries. The empanadas in 'Les Amis' are very good too.
@M@kjylkov Similar, but not the same.
Gracias por este video, amo a mi ciudad
Gracias Ana! y gracias por la corrección 😅 saludos!
👍
When tourist come to bogota the best place is the north of the city, not the center! Try provenzza medellin and historic center of cartagena!
Is Carulla Not Corulla
Thats the turistic neighbourhood not the ultra rich. If you want to see ultra rich you have to go to the outskirts of the city
Carulla (not corulla)
Oh man thank you for this, I really love my city.
isn't that first food item just a croissant ?
Por 185k un departamento es una ganga, en Santiago uno en un lugar bueno empieza en 500k-600k Jajaja
Richest? $8 for that drinks, wow that’s cheap
Israel come to Tijuana!!
Ha ha ha. Heyyy my friend it is not CORULLA is CARULLA…😅😅😅😅
It’s called Carulla, not Corulla.
Chingao 185K 😄
Thats not ultra rich is just a culture of academy, bogota is called the Athens of South America, we got the unique ágora outside greece as modern and functional in alll the world! Is a city thats empresarial and academic, north of bogota is 4 Million people with second world stats, second world is considerated developed world, in here that means is 4 Million people in mid high and high class, is the motor of Colombia! There is now places that are following same way and are getting the same stats in less pop but all around the country in other cities, in medellin palmas and poblado are getting same stats! North of Bogotá could be first but got no relevant companys for the world or special incomes, is just slowly academic but constant development! Is not the same to get development in here in mid of latin american context that gettin in middle europe or in north america, even asia xD here there are hard cultures xDD But we love our context anyway, is just the mix of the mix of the mix XD Saludes!
I live in Bogotá and people always assume that since I'm a foreigner I'd want to live in the north.... I absolutely HATE the north of Bogotá. All those ugly 1970s high rises. No charm. Super residential. I just.... can't stand it. Sure there are some good restaurants and it's easier to buy certain products (particularly imports) but Bogotá has much better neigbourhoods.
Such as?
@@EduardoCanizalezThe west of the city has good neighborhoods such as: Colinas de Suba, Ciudad Salitre, Normandia, Quinta paredes; even Teusaquillo and surrounding places
@@Najbo1 Gracias, bro
Most of the buildings in the north of Bogota are new, many huge houses in the traditional neighborhoods such as: El Chico, Nogales, Rosales, Chapinero Alto, were demolished in recent years to build new apartment towers, perhaps the only buildings of the years 70s are some located on the hill at the sector of the exit to the municipality of La Calera.
