I have never commented on a video before but this was the most hauntingly beautiful moving rendition of this song. You can see Shoshana tearing up and I could feel what she was feeling in my soul. What a performance!!!!!! I have tears running down my cheek but smiling because it was utterly perfect

Wasn't expecting to sob while down a Sunday In The Park With George youtube rabbit hole at 8am, but here we are... Man, Shoshana. I've been trying to explain to my wife why Mandy's version of this song always sends me into tears, but I haven't been able to find a rendition that explained my emotions. Then you came along. Incredible. Thank you.

You have this inhuman ability to involve yourself so deeply in certain pieces of music(well, ALL pieces) and translate that emotion to your audience. Not only is your vocal ability out of this world, but your outward empathy is surreal. A real and true artist, ladies and gentlemen.
She is out of this world. So different than anyone else.

I love how you allow yourself to feel whatever your singing.Weather it be a song from a musical or a song from another recording artist or a song of your own.You allow yourself to get immersed in the music and I give you all the props in the world for that

An exercise in minimalism by a master story teller. A true example of less is more and silence is loud.
Sublime rendition, evocative and nuanced. Would love to hear Shashana sing The Roads you didn't Take from Follies. It's generally sung as almost a dirge but I think Shoshana would embrace the sweetness of the story and the wisdom.
Wow. What a brilliant crossover concept and another incredible performance from Shoshana. Such a fantastic arrangement with the guitar too.

While I'm all for reimagining characters, I don't think it could work in this case as Dot is pregnant with George's child. That can't happen if George is a woman. Now... a woman playing George as a man? That could be considered.
