I loved the lady and little girl on the classic motorcycle, if that doesn't warm ones heart there's something wrong...thank you both for sharing real experiences with us and hopefully travel and cost, will get back to normal so I can explore as well, thanks again absolute great content
Great point there Ron... Cost! Travel will no doubt get back to normal eventually, but I'm afraid because there will be a demand for travel, the airlines are going to get everything they can out of us to make up for their losses. I think it will be a long time before we ever see air travel prices like they were pre-covid 😏

My friend has a restaurant in Chaiyaphum that has those sort of barbeques. I liked it so much, I ordered one through the Thai store here in the USA and we use it on special occasions. We love it

I'll deep dive into past ones too but it is a great way to learn about our Asian neighbours (I'm an Aussie too). Hopefully, when the world starts moving again, I can get over there and travel the Ho Chi Mihn trail too.

Hey guys what an amazing adventure you took us on. The roads were crazy. I can just imagine those roads with a little rain. Bikes? I’m in, that would be a great trip. Sound is great. Feels like we’re there with you and NeeNee as the trucks and cars whooshed by. I can smell the hot coal under the pot and beerlao. Watching your vids help a bit to alleviate my homesickness; eagerly anticipating the opportunity to go back. As someone commented in part 1 of the Ho Chi Minh trail epic road trip, you might want to add a tag line that says “aka Wow in Lao”. 🤣 Your humor is too subtle for NeeNee. I will definitely take my extended family to visit NeeNee’s restaurant. My brothers had already been there and they loved it.

Yeah, it was mainly the music in the background that made it hard. If I had let the video and conversation playout, I would've been stung with a copyright infringement. Lol later on in the video when I'm talking about the trip. from about the 13:05 mark, you can hear where I overlaid another song on top of the background music, because on my first upload I did get an infringement. Stuff that! Lol So yeah, I guess it was more annoying to me because of how much more work it made of a simple video. Thanks Peter for coming along and commenting on every video 💪
I went back and listened to that again. You overlaid that so well I'm sure no one would have known. The whole music strike thing is a vloggers nightmare I think, but at least you know how to well and truely stay one step ahead, 👍

Where you're at might be loud with trucks now, but in 1972, just to the east in Tchepone (Xepon, Sepon), the explosions from operation Lam Son 219, must have been deafening, brain-shaking, bone-rattling. Route 23 was the target for many F-4 Phantoms. You didn't see any remenants?

Mate, the squat pots are the best, especially when the shower head is directly above it. Then you can take a shite while yer havin a shower, it's the most Sanitary thing you can do to your body, the dance around the squat pot, did it many a times in Asia, don't fall in. The western toilet is dirty, who wants to sit in someone else's what have you, it's disgusting unless you own the seat. Gimme a squat pot any day, yer a lucky man, let er' rip Mate. I still refuse to use any toilet seat that I have to share with anyone I'm not intimate with. Have strong legs, will travel
