So, this IS thee channel I have been looking for ! 👍 I have been in the Air Conditioning trade for over 30 years. I've been saving All my contactors for 4 years thinking that the contact points were definitely silver. I'm still not sure . Anyone ?
You need to shove a pencil in the bottle when it's upside down and push it in n pull it out. It moves the bits around and they will fall more freely out of the neck.
Yes.... The silver is everywhere in the electrical components... I just don't do that kind of scrapping.... here where I live there is not a market for those.
Yeah I agree. Almost every has them to some degree. I save all mine. I snip only what has the contact point because I don't like loose my brass.i hope to make a silver bar out of mine although it does take quite a few to get enough
Just talk to my ac buddy and ask him to start saving all contacts. He also said there a shortage on circuit breakers here in the states, Nice pile you have there Simple Man. 👍🌴

Hey Simple Man
Gotta question. Is the brazing rods we use in the trade made of the same grade of silver ? Or close to it ?
Got 5 lbs of the contacts, but mine are trimmed close, wondering if I messed up?

Ευχαριστώ φιλε μου 😃
I like it videos but I wish you would talk a little while you're doing that doesn't help somebody that's partially blind. enjoy watching anyway
So what do you do with those pieces of metal with some silver?
I give them to a friend that can process those with chemicals and extract the silver.... 😁
Could've been a 2 minute video if you used a wide mouth jar.
And then what you will have to comment?
Throw them
Maybe I should throw them to your basement 🤣
