Yess, thank you Tati for mentioning that meditation isn't for everyone. Its one of the number one things that people recommend for anxiety and it doesn't always work and I think some people get very frustrated when it doesn't, but it doesn't mean it has to. You just gotta keep trying to find the one thing that does.
It is actually something you have to practice. People think it comes easy for those who medidate, but it is quite the opposite for many. It took me months to do it correctly, to clear my brain, to hush the anxiety ridden thoughts, just like Tati mentioned. But that is the point. You are training your brain. Think of it like a deep clean for your brain. But alas, just might not be for everyone 😉
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and I never once learned that meditation is a way to deal with your anxiety. I also have dealt with anxiety myself. It's vital to find out what exactly is the root cause of it and the best way to find that out is by going to therapy. I also recommend an easy and amazing workbook called mind over mood. It's extremely well known in the field of psychology and psychotherapy. And to be honest, what helped me the most, was going go to therapy, working through my issues by digging into my past and my hurts, finding ways to cope with my anxiety while I was getting better, and God. He gave me peace in the darkness that is anxiety. I pray that everyone who has this awful mental disability, will have peace in your life. 🙏🏼

Same!! I'm 39 (40 in November) and I cannot wear concealer anymore! It just looks horrendous on me! I use foundation all the way up under my eyes and it's the only thing that looks semi natural. I'm lucky to not have dark circles or wrinkles yet but still it sucks not being able to use all of the beautiful concealers on the market now!

tati when i started watching your vids four years ago, i decided to purchase my first vanity as opposed to bathroom mirror makeup. since then, it’s my meditative moment. doing my makeup before my hard serving job helps me tune out my anxiety about the coming day. it’s changed my life, and i don’t care if anyone thinks it’s vain! it’s my zen!
Also 100% agree with using makeup as a meditation. I do my makeup even when I'm not going anywhere because I just get in this peaceful zone. Makeup has helped me through my absolute worst.

Makeup helped me calm myself in a period of great and constant anxiety and it was so soothing, so now I use it regularly primarily for that purpose! Tati, i like it better when you explain the different shadows and steps you use to do your eyeshadow look. It has helped me as a beginner know how to shape my eyes and how to use different colors in different areas to accent certain things. I have hooded eyes and its so helpful when you explain everything out.
Tati, I think the flow of the video is great, I like how you pause to show colors but speed up the blending. You're inspiring and comforting to watch. You're advice is on point and I like watching you because we have similar skin types. Are you in to astrology? Wondering where your Chiron falls? I totally agree about meditating, my mind is too busy. Putting on makeup or doing my nails, hair, a mask or even decorating/cleaning puts me in such a better place and almost it's almost trance like, dancing and listening to music the whole time.

Tati, i like it better when you explain the different shadows and steps you use to do your eyeshadow look. It has helped me as a beginner know how to shape my eyes and how to use different colors in different areas to accent certain things. I have hooded eyes and its so helpful when you explain everything out.

Tati, I think the flow of the video is great, I like how you pause to show colors but speed up the blending. You're inspiring and comforting to watch. You're advice is on point and I like watching you because we have similar skin types. Are you in to astrology? Wondering where your Chiron falls? I totally agree about meditating, my mind is too busy. Putting on makeup or doing my nails, hair, a mask or even decorating/cleaning puts me in such a better place and almost it's almost trance like, dancing and listening to music the whole time.
Explain steps in between please. In one of your last videos you sped up your eyes and they looked SO good but I had no idea how you got there 😅
