The entire Gran Turismo 7 game has been given native PSVR 2 support (i.e., whole game in VR, not just a special add-on 'VR mode'). You can even play it in VR using a steering wheel + pedals, if you got 'em.
If you have a ps5 then go ahead and get the PSVR2 but if you do have a pc then please get like an oculus or valve index, which will both be something that will be more powerful than the PSVR2 as it will utilise the pc's performance

Why do people keep complaining it’s expensive? This is easily $700 and yet Sony decided on a MUCH lower price - about $200 off. Comparatively this is the same price as the PSVR1 - which DIDN’T come with controllers bundled.
I think people complain about the price because they feel the accessory is more than a console I think it should of been $499 personally the same as a ps5 but what people also don’t realize that Sony completely made a new controller that HAD to be included unlike the ps move controllers they some people already had with the 1st ps vr

PlayStation sent me emails this weekend informing me they are about to process payment for the unit and charger. I did not use the Version 1 much because it was a pain to hook up. This one is not going to collect dust.
The thoughtfulness of everything from the headset adjustments to the box being able to be used as a storage box makes me happy. I know the launch isn’t as big as Sony probably wanted it to be. (Preorder still isn’t sold out yet) But I know people will come around once it starts getting into peoples hands and reviews start coming out. Hopefully PC support will be in the works in the future. They could make it where you could only activate on PC if you have a PS5. Kinda like how they are able to track activated consoles. I’d even buy an unlock key. What do you think?
They'd make their ROI faster by just letting it be PC compatible. Tons of us want to use this with SteamVR and move out of the Quest 2 because we hate Meta at this point. Meta is a horrible company for VR.

So if that’s the case, they wouldn’t make money by just letting anyone buy the headset and use on PC without some type of stipulation.

This was probably the best PSVR 2 unboxing I've seen (and I've watched a bunch, including by some of the traditional gaming media). Not only did you get all of the details right, you did a great job of presenting the hardware. The only tip I'd offer is that there are earbud holders on the headset strap (near the back on the sides) so that the earbuds don't flap around when you're putting on or taking off the headset. Also, where did you get that Horizon footage? I've never seen those shots before. Man that game is looking good!

You can use it either plugged in or wirelessly. You can also use other headphones as well, whether they're plugged in or wireless, as long as they're not bluetooth (because it has too much latency). Also, bigger headphones might not fit well with the headband, but it works just fine with the Pulse 3d, so anything around that size should be fine.
The pulse 3d headset will work the best. The two were developed in tandem with the ps5. There are plenty of reviews of the psvr2 in use with the pulse headset and latency is never brought up as an issue.
Quick question: as someone who wears glasses to see, would the headset sit comfortably over my glasses or could I take them off and still see comfortably without them? That’s been the main reason keeping me from getting any VR headset.
@@jesseallen4184 Nah most VR headsets can accommodate glasses. Also you can buy prescription clip on lenses for cheap if you don't want to wear glasses.

The Oled display makes this the best VR headset on the market. Even the pixel technology is new and does not exist on any other device.
