- Hey everyone welcome back to another video! Today I am super excited were taking a look at a Motorhome that has a FRESH Interior! This is the 2021 Thor Motor Coach Fourwinds 28z! This is a awesome class C motorhome from Thor! I love this motorhome for 2 reasons. Reason #1 is because there is no slide outs in the bed room and the way this RV is designed it has awesome pass through exterior storage! Then #2 reason I love this motorhome is because of the interior! Its white and bright and light and airy cabinetry! Andrea has been requesting this is all motorhomes and I am glad Thor stepped up to the plate and they executed this perfect!

I love bright colors, full couch, & big bath. I like not enough counters, no pantry, & the Tv over the window.

I would make some design changes.
1. remove the dinette
2. extend the kitchen counter all the way to the overhead bunk
3. put two mounted barstools(removable like the table legs if you like that) that swivel with backs, close to the overhead bunk, spaced accordingly
4. don't have the slide out
5. you can take out the oven and put in a convection microwave oven
6. extend overhead cabinets from kitchen area to bunk

I like the Four Winds but I miss not having the tall pantry they usually have. Love the LARGE outside storage. Love the white, light colors inside. Happy camping and stay safe with the crazy weather.

2021 Thor Four Winds 28Z:
Thor did one outstanding job on the interior of this four winds 28Z. I love the interior of this motorhome. Everything from the kitchen to the living room to the master bedroom, Thor did amazing! However, there should be more counter space in the kitchen area and that I would prefer shades than traditional blinds. All in all, I give this motorhome an 8.5/10 despite the fact that this motorhome obtains an average score on the toilet test.
I like the lighter color scheme, so much brighter! I like the big exterior storage. I like that it's prepped for solar. I don't like that the door over the dump station doesn't have a way to hold it up out of your way, like a magnet or hook or something. I don't like the pattern on the countertops and table--too busy. And I don't like the window dressings (valances and shades ). And I really dislike the direction the bathroom door opens: I'd probably take it off and hang a curtain instead. A pocket door would be better.
Except for over cab bed, this is a very nice unit. Best feature is the white woodwork. (Thanks for listening, Thor.) Love the single kitchen sink, the pleated shades rather than cheap rollups (but prefer day/nite shades over either).
Am still waiting for a unit with no OCB, just storage w tv placement. I have no use for OCB so don't want the drag that comes with it.
Seems like lack of inside storage might be an issue but where to put that storage is the question.
You didn't comment on hinged cabinets, would rather see hidden hinges.
One change (which can be made by buyer): move mirror to wall by refrg which frees up entry wall space for hooks - coats, hats, keys, etc.
Question: I know of several people who have had issues with the kitchen in a slide. Anyone out there care to comment on their experiences?

I actually like the TV placement. Its opposite the couch in the Prime Peeping Position.
Thor has always done a good job with the appearance of their interiors. It's their wide reputation for sub-par building materials and construction that is the problem. I would not feel comfortable owning one. We'll just have to see if they make an effort to improve.
Likes:
1) The kitchen and dinette area: short on counter space but the dinette table can be used as an extension of the counters, so we’re good there. Plus OVEN!
2) Lots of cabinets, inside and out - plus they’re not on the usual RV color spectrum (tan-dog turd brown). I’m not in love with white, but having white interior is far from being a deal breaker, especially given how well constructed everything looks and how spacious the rig is.
3) That bedroom! Love the position of the bed, the nightstand, the windows - everything looks comfortable and pretty. Plus, it’s accessible with the slides in.
Dislikes:
1) The bathroom is a tad small, but it’s still functional and pretty, so not a deal-breaker.
* That was literally it. Maybe Momma’s a little too easy to please (I’ve been told that), but I love this one!
** I’m going to have the watch the video again because I didn’t see a toilet paper holder. I know there has to be one in there.
I like how light the inside is. I like the layout. And the size.
I dont know why the under storage cant be painted white. They are always so dark. Paint them white.
Dislikes, no King, no back splash in kitchen, owning too small. Likes, bath is OK, love sink, love storage under seats. Love Matt, and Andrea.
3 things don't like:
1) It's a Thor product
2) were is the toilet paper holder?
3) no daytime / nighttime shades
3 things I like:
1) color of the whole unit
2) layout of whole unit
3) price of the unit.
It really is an amazing RV, I like everything, price, layout, and colors. But I am scared to buy a Thor product considering there reputation. So I'll leave it. If another brand has this, I'll buy it tomorrow. Till then, continue looking.

I did a lot of research, the two things I found: 1) reliability is poor, and the major reason I am not buying Thor is after sale support is extremely poor.
I am not saying that RV's don't have problems, but there needed support from the manufacturer is extremely important at that time. If I counted the number of bad reviews for Thor products I have read, I could put down a very good down payment on a RV.

Our Class C Thor had a multitude of poor quality and assembly issues. Probably a year to sort most of it out. Wall delam and leaking over cab had us dump it in only a few years.
Our local dealer was awesome to deal with so if it wasn't for them we would've dumped it sooner.

Wow, actually really like the design & color of this.... would get rid of the kitchen valance to look more open & get the optional theater seating....they should think about a flip up TV so you could see out the window & it would also give a more open feeling... would like more counter space.....
I do love the lay out. Kitchen storage is concerning. But this could be do able.
Like the interior colors. Like TV placement. Dislike lack of a pantry. Dislike shower door. Shower is also on the smaller side.

Guys. On second thought. U can get away without the seperated pantry. There is plenty of space to put things. Especially with the huge outside storage and using under the booth and all the other drawers. I really like it for the size and price
I absolutely love the interior of this motorhome! The decor, the colors, the layout are just perfect. Very well done!
I bought this same layout as a Freedom Elite 28H in 2014. I love it. Super convent for traveling with kids. If you buy one, I would recommend auto leveling jacks. I wish I had known I needed them. My V10 gets around 8.5 MPG. THOR quality is not as bad as some say in my opinion.

I love the colors. But no pantry. Counter space not a lot but workable with sink covers and has so much storage! Still needs pantry space!! White is amazing

The interior decor is really nice, so glad it looks different than everything else on the market. The sleeping area is another goodie. The north and south bed is always available for sleeping, doesn't need to be made up. STORAGE! Wow.

I like how bright it is. Never seen white cabinets, great choice. Dislike the lack of counter space. Andrea is right...would have been better to have an extension flip up or a slide out for extra counter space. Great price ( General’s price) for what you get. Love that is is under 30 ft.

I have read that rv manufacturers have poor quality control and expect the dealership to fix all of the mistakes after purchase. It is nice to see they know of a potential problem and place the fridge to help stop it. As always Matt and Andrea great job

1. I don't like the size of the sink
2. I don't like the propane fridge. I prefer 12v or residential fridge.
3. I don't like that one side of the bed doesn't have a nightstand.

Wow! Absolutely love this motor home! It's the white and light colors that have won me over and everything is still accessed with the slides in. Under 30 ft. and Ford tough....WOW! Dislikes .... all the black hardware, faucet, ect... should be silver. No one likes folding doors! There should be storage area for a wet bay and power hookup. Thanks for all you do! You two are great!!!!! If I could add anything it would be a windshield in the bunk and an outdoor awesome kitchen!!!!!
Three things I like: 1. Love that there isn't a TV in the Bunk over the cab. 2. Love the master bed layout and that you can get out on both sides. 3. Love the size of the bathroom. I think I could possibly fit. I am six foot eight. 3 things I don't like: 1. Still don't like where the TV is located. 2. Nice but really expensive. You have good deal thought. 3. Wish there was more counter space.

- large medicine cabinet in the bathroom (his/her sides)
- drawer under the oven- useful for the pots/pans & cookie sheets
- pull out drawers near sink- the 1cabinet look is great
Dislikes:
- lack of kitchen counter space- needs a pull-out peninsula or flip-up piece
- no "side- splash" near the stove top
- fridge not on the slide
- accordion door for bedroom and blinds- make it a pocket door and roller black out shades
LOVE the colors! I like the north/south orientation of the bed and that the fridge is not on a slide. But, it's just a bit too cramped for more than short trips. No counter space??? C'mon guys! Also, would have liked two nightstands.

Love love love the light interior. Love the dinette across from the sofa. Love the big storage in the back. Do not like the shower curtain, prefer the storing curtain Winnebago uses. I would prefer a smaller tv so you can see through the window better. Would like a pop up counter extension. LOVE Andreas hair! Fabulous!

FINALLY!!!! OFF-WHITE CABINETS that I’ve been clamoring for, along with Andrea and others. It looks SO good and so much better than ugly brown cabinets. I also like the space to set stuff next to the bed on the right side. I need a lot of space there and it’s great that they offer it!

Very impressed...looks very livable especially for us since we are a senior couple that wants to full time it. First 'like' is the colors second is the bed( I agree with Andrea about the North South position) and third is the shower ( looks like a comfortable size.) Dislikes; first Don't need an oven, Next didn't hear about cameras.(safety..safety..safety) and finally Placement of the TV in the front....would irritate me while seated at the dinette. Great job on the video folks.
Love the lighter interior colors and all the storage, especially the drawer under the oven. ( making it look like an oven drawer). Intensely dislike the non black out window coverings.

Hey RV Review Crew, here are my comments on the 2021 Thor Four Winds 28Z Motorhome! I’ve been kinda busy adjusting to retirement (almost through 4 weeks, YEAH!) and taking care of a lot of things I put off while working (wa-wa). Also, I had to get a COVID test which made me sneeze and cough a lot, as I was exposed to 3 COVID positive folks a while back. Two of those folks were admitted (one is still in the hospital going on 3 weeks). Thankfully I’m negative!
This is a very efficient coach with nice features, a good size, and looks like it could be a big hit! At about $75,000 there are a lot of great ideas packed in here.
In this coach I like:
+Slide in access to coach is great
+White cabinets really look GOOD!
+The black fridge looks sharp and is a great size
+Oven drawer PSYCH! That was funny. Not sure this is a necessary feature, but it doesn’t take anything away from the décor
Now for things that I did not care for, or I have questions about:
- The awning isn’t long enough. Instead of 14’ Thor should have gone 18’ which would be long enough to cover that passenger side window
-Why not put the fans in? Would it really make a big price difference, or is squeezing that much more margin out of a sale that important?
-Not a fan of “RV-Queen” (or RV-King) bed sizes, couldn’t you engineer things a little better to fit a full 60x80 queen?
Finally:
I think there were some errors in the on-screen data for this coach. The on-screen data showed 305 HP (vs. 350 for the new E-450 V8) and 420 lb-ft of torque, which I think should be 468!
Hi guy's great video , really like this Fourwinds good floor plan and the length is just right . I am glide they gone to the all white too. I agree with your likes and dislikes hate those doors and blinds , love that refrigerator not in the slide . Ours is in the slide and it never cools right . And for the price you can't beat it . Oh you got to review that super C in the back ground !

Likes-inside decor and colors, set up, outside storage .
Dislikes- blinds, not enough storage in bedroom, no space for 2 C-Pap machines.
Likes:
1. White cabinets with adjustable shelves
2. Large rear storage. Especially storage for a spare tire!
3. Drawers under dinette vs having to pull up the cushions
Dislikes:
1. While I like the TV placement, I don’t like the windows behind it. I would prefer a televator and one large window. Maybe the TV could flip down from the ceiling. Either way, I would want one large window vs the two smaller ones over the dinette.
2. Not a fan of rubber roofs
3. Dump area should have a floor for storage purpose.
1.Has proper v8 for its size. 2 the walk threw space with slides in. 3 the space around the bedroom and not slides in the bedroom.
I like the outside appearance, lighted storage bay, large storage compartment with table, sturdy ladder. Don’t like that the portable water is exposed. Lovely interior, north/south bed, tv placement is perfect in the living area, Apple CarPlay! I suppose we could get back up and side view cameras as an option. Nice storage in the kitchen area with a power tower, drawers are convenient, but wish it had more prep area. Like the fridge placement. Not a fan of the shower door, small but a perfect layout, my feet would swing. Big window in sleeping area with a bed you can sit up in and read. Good price.

Likes: the white interior!!! It is so amazing how it makes it look so much bigger!!! The mirror is awesome as well!!.
The bedroom is cool, love that there is no slide for it. The placement of these bed is totally awesome.
Dislikes: The small counter space, I agree with Andrea that there should be an extension of the counter. It is nice that there is a cover over the cooktop, so that could give you a little extra space to prep. Don't like that the bedroom just seems to have only one outlet on the bedsides. There should be a plug on each side of the bed.

Things I like about this RV; 1) Godzilla V8 engine 2) Refrigerator is in a nice location 3) Floor is nice 4) Kitchen has a good layout
I like the tv being right across from the couch and the color of the cabinets.
Love the drawer storage under oven. Love having drawers under the diner seats. So much better than lifting up the seats.
LOVE the huge outside storage. Wish the sofa was theater seats. That would be great! Do NOT like the window shades. Love the white cabinets. So fresh and clean looking!! Overall a great looking motorhome.
I love your videos, you 2 do such a great job showing everything there is to see without being boring. If I ever buy a RV, I'm gonna fly down to Florida and buy it from you, then drive it home to Philly.

1) Kitchen counter space (not for me because of my needs)

I have many more likes and dislikes but will keep it at three.
Blinds, blinds, blinds are the worst. They will get dirty and are impossible to clean. But the light colored cabs are the best!
Love the light colors - dislike no pantry or counter space.
I am a little disappointed. That motorhome looks exactly the same as my 2009 ford E450 Majestic class c!
Other than a little bit of counter space the layout is identical!!

Greetings: Thank you and your Wife for the video. My husband and I driven the four winds in May 2020. First time driven a Class C. At first, very scared, but we enjoyed it. Bradford and Cynthia Blair.
Love the light color, the north and south bed, and the rear storage underneath......i do not like the bathroom too small and I like seperat showers, the TV placement, and the uncomfortable drivers chair in the front..i miss the old adjustable ones.
Like -the white interior cabinets, the bed and placement and the large single sink. Dislikes - toilet and lack of counter space. Need to consider a bread board slide out above the side drawers
It's nice for the price, very spacious, in and out storage great, don't like the shower door,like the window in kitchen area, short on the counter top...great review guy's...again!
A cool option they could do is replace the dinette with a bar and stools. Just extend the counter top sideways over where the forward facing seat is, and have stools sitting under the counter. Would take away the dinette bed option, but would give more counter space and a cool modern feel, especially for like a couple. And they could put a pantry where the rear facing dinette seat is if they did this option. I'm available for hire for designing floorplans btw lol.

I like the white cabinets I really like the price point and I like the storage in the bathroom. My dislikes would be the outdated countertop and lack of counter space, I also do not like the shower door accordion thing, and lastly the shades. I also have another like it’s Andria! She looked absolutely beautiful!

Yep, love the white and I hope more RV manufacturers are going to be producing more of this type of color scheme. It's bright, airy, and very clean and crisp looking. It makes it look more open, and feels less claustrophobic.

We are making progress, interior color, bedroom and pass through storage, but on the dislike the interior layout still falls short , give me a Grand Design Imagine 17MKE on that 450 chassis and you will have a great class C
