I'm well down this rabbit hole and I don't want help getting out! I only planned on buying two more this month but someone introduced me to this one and I had to have it! I didn't have a vacuum filling fountain pen and would like to have a variety of filling mechanisms within my collection. Because I am trying to limit myself somehow, I thought sticking to a theme would limit my purchase options.
I'm new to the Nahvalur brand, this is my first pen but I’m really happy they came out with this colour option @nahvalur
This was bought from a lovely store here in the UK called Art From the Heart ❤️ www.afth.co.uk
The paper used for the writing sample was Tomoe River also purchased from AFTH@artfromtheheartukltd6464
The ink used was a Cult Pens Dominant Industry collaboration called Dusk. It was given to me as a gift but I believe it was bought from Cult Pens @CultPensUK www.cultpens.com

I love that you compared it with other pens with the same color way. It tells us a lot about the variation in interpretations of white and rose gold across manufacturers.

I do have 4 TWSBI pens in my collection because I love the design and how affordable they are and I bought them before I heard about any of this. Do you have a favourite Nahvalur fountain pen? Which other brands do you like?
@@AverageZoeBlogs this will be my first nahvalur pen actually. Been wanting one for so long but never got around to it. I have to say that Franklin Christoph is one of my favorite brands alongside pilot. I have 3 or 4 pens. I also bought two pens from Little pen Designs they are great writers. My Leonardo momento mágico is my favorite too.

I absolutely love the way the matira white looks.. but I've learned my lesson after owning a white RG twsbi. The white does stain over time and there's not much you can do about it. I ended up getting the lovina black for this reason. I hope you're still enjoying your beautiful pen.
Thank you 😊 I watched a video where someone mentioned staining their white and RG TWSBI so I’ve always been really cautious. I use the TWSBI pipe when filling and only ever use the same colour ink. My Nahvalur has FWP Adventurine and so far it doesn’t look like it’s stained 🤞🏽I’ve also heard that it’s mainly inks with red in so reds, pinks, oranges etc. that stain. Is that true? My main colours are grey, green and brown.
@@AverageZoeBlogs I didn't think to use the pipe. But I think using the same ink would be a very limiting factor as far as my enjoyment of a pen. That said, I have been babying my white rg twsbi by using standard non-permanent inks, and wiping immediately after fills, and it still managed to stain. I was mainly using blue and brown inks. I'm glad your Nahvalur is safe and sound! It's a beauty..I have a thing for white pens haha
@@sech20 so sorry to hear yours stained despite being so careful 😢 I think I’ve heard you can write to TWSBI and pay shipping for a new nib section if it really bothered you but then it could just happen again. I have a thing for white pens too! And if it’s white and rose gold 😍😍😍

@AverageZoeBlogs Either way is fine by me. If you still carry a lot in different pouches, perhaps you can stick with multiple vids. This way, you can elaborate on each thing like you did before.! 🙂
I bought this in the black version with a fine nib and think these are lovely pens. It was my first Nahvalur and vacuum fill pen too. It's nice to see a British pen enthusiast for a change 🙂
Oh how exciting! Which ink have you paired it with? I have my eye on the Ferris Wheel Press Adventurine as I do like grey ink and it has rose gold shimmer. That might look even better in your black one. Are you British too?🙌🏽
I just thought the shimmer is probably not the best for your fine nib though. I also want to try the De Atramentis Pearlscent Ink Velvet Black Copper.
@@AverageZoeBlogs yes I'm in the UK too. I have it inked up with Inkebara Deer Brown, which is actually a green lol. I don't usually use shimmer inks in fine nib pens because you generally don't get to see much shimmer and the cleaning is a bit of a pain sometimes. Oh I got it from AliExpress. It’s a Moonman/Majohn/Mahjong one. The model number is N8 and I got the white one but there are other colours. If you give me a day or so I’ll upload a short video with it and everything it came with.
