      Thanks for the support. I will have the plans for all the jigs that I'm using in the videos. However, I have come up with a new method to make kumikos and mitsukude on the miter saw, instead of on the sled. it will be much easier than the sled method. I will show it in the lamp-making videos. Please, stay tuned. Thanks again.

    Teaho, did you ever do the video of the creation of the sled ?

    • @WoodArtStudio1
      @WoodArtStudio1  Před 3 lety

      Yes, the 30 degree sled is in part of the video in Part 4 and I do have a separate video on a 45 degree sled that made in the same way.

      Thank you!!
      I'm going to specify all the dimensions for the main panel and the Kumikude's triangle size in Part 8 video.
      From that point, you can follow the directions of drawing the pattern from the videos.
      Please read the descriptions below the Part 7 video channel. Thanks. ^^

    What brand is that angle gauge you are using, and where did you purchase it?

    • @WoodArtStudio1
      @WoodArtStudio1  Před 3 lety

      It's made by Shinwa. It is one of our member's protractor and he bought it while he was in Japan. I know they make these up to 3 feet long but couldn't find them in the US. You might find them if you spend some time though.

    • @sendguns
      @sendguns Před 3 lety

      @@WoodArtStudio1 Thanks for your response. I looked within the USA and and did not find the large Shinwa protractor, but I did locate it from a company in Japan (japan-agritrading.com/category/select/pid/11183), that sells it for an extremely high price, so I guess I'll not be buying this tool, unless someone else can find it cheaper.

      @@sendguns Good to know. You might wanna try a large set square if it's for making a sled. You can find it in Amazon. I have both small and large ones.

    That’s a very interesting protractor that you are using. Do you have any information on it?

    • @WoodArtStudio1
      @WoodArtStudio1  Před 3 lety

      Hello Jeff. The protractor is actually my friend's. He has got it while he was in Korea. The brand is by Shinwa (Japanese company) It's going to be hard to find in the states. I've looked everywhere, but couldn't find it anywhere but, in Japan and England.

      Amazon & TayTools.com has the 150 C versions. I have emailed TayTools asking about the 300 C.

    • @jimw544
      @jimw544 Před 3 lety

      TayTools replied and they do not carry it and do not know anyone that does. A protractor head on your 12" square will work as well.
