    Today, we've gotten so used to "agreeing to disagree" that it seems completely acceptable for no one to be 100% right or wrong. That it's just a matter of opinion. But if we can be honest, there are times when we're wrong, and admitting it helps us to grow spiritually and relationally.
    For VOUS Conference 2019, Pastor Judah Smith’s “I Was Wrong” hit straight to the heart of the matter-there are certain things we say or do that we shouldn’t allow to exist in a gray zone. Whether by mistake or intention, we've all made errors.
    Some of our wrongdoings can include misjudging someone based on the first impression, not following through with our word, or failing a friend. And we've all missed the mark set by God, having had the wrong understanding of him and what he wants from us.
    Yet, whatever the area of failure, being able to admit our offenses will push us closer to the destiny God has for us. Just as the Bible tells us, by humbling ourselves and admitting our mistakes, we'll be exalted before God.

    I love this preaching style! I struggle with pride. There’s nothing wrong with admitting being wrong, it’s actually refreshing. I definitely will remember this message.

    • @robsaunders212
      @robsaunders212 Před 4 lety

      @@sarahsuzupikachu because when someone says that another is preaching the gospel, there is only one gospel that pertains to the definition of the Gospel. The gospel, the Full Gospel is birth of a virgin, death, burial and Resurrection Jesus Christ. Anything less than that might be a good word but it definitely is not the gospel.

      @@robsaunders212 he does mention the fall of Adam and Eve and Jesus’ redemptive work for humanity at around 27:00 to 29:02

      @@Poochadragon123 I listen to it and you are correct. However, that is the quickest preaching of the Gospel I have ever heard one roll over. So still not that good.

    Amen!!! Jesus is disruptive. I figured we are in a battle whether you accept Jesus or not, why not join the winning team.

      I meant Jesus disrupts all the comfort in our lives, while giving you peace. These two stretch us but teaches us we it’s human strength but Grace.
