I really enjoy your channel! I do have an unsolicited suggestion. PLEASE consider turning off the background 'music'. For me, it's very distracting. Love your content!!

If it helps, I actually watch a lot of CZcams videos on faster speeds and it’s helpful when there’s no bg music too, though it doesn’t make me not want to watch or anything!

I'm a backpack girl all the way and I have backpacks for different occasions. For work I carry a Fjällräven räven backpack since my workplace is pretty laid back and I don't need to look that professional. Plus it's just so functional with a padded laptop sleeve and mesh pockets for all the cables etc.

I love a backpack too. I use Jansport backpacks a lot because they are comfy and they are cute. But I have leather ones from @chicsparrow and @portlandleather and I love both so much.

I have a deep red leather satchel that I use for professional outings. It fits a lot but not as much as yours due to the flatter nature of the satchel and I love it so much. I would also love to have one like yours. ❤ It’s a beautiful bag!

🎒 👜 🛍️ This is what I carry to University 2 days a week. I said before that I am on the spectrum, so autistic/ADHD in me, will want all my pens, and all my color choices. I carry a standing pen thing (an otter) from Jet Pens with all the Coleto Hi-Tech colors. A Pental Twist Erase II mechanical Pencil and Pentax click eraser. Sticky notes in blue and green in a LiHit smart Fit Pencil case, with this month/week Tombow or Pitt Brush Pens colors. My fountain pen, currently inked green and is Kwakeo Sport clear, without the clip. Plus a selection of Fabre-Castell colored pencils I use daily. I have to carry my laptop charger, a phone charger, and cables for my phone and tablet. Plus my 14 inch laptop. Three thin Hobonichi accessory a5 notebooks, that I have GTD method in, waiting on, capture, and a next action section for my thesis. These go into a dust cover with my planner. My planners, My weeks in my backpack or purse, and my Cousin in my backpack or purse depending on space available. I have to take water bottle with me, and a reusable coffee cup for tea, a battery pack, if I take a long walk with camera on my phone, nail and skin care in a tiny lipstick pouch from Clinique, Hand sanitizer, lead sharperner for my colored pencils, and a brush. Along with an empty Starbucks cold drink cup for my cold drink that is not water., and extra reusable cups. Some wet wipes for an energy, silverware and a lunch if I bring it, and reusable silverwhere from Sistima.
If I do not take my bigger backpack, and just my cross body laptop sleeve, I make this somehow all fit in the backpack, and my cross body purse. Else, I have my sleeve with my laptop, tablet, charging blocks for both the laptop and my phone and tablet, necessary cables, and a headphone cable for backup of my noise canceling headphones. I will go home early if I forget those headphones! Libraries in Denmark allow loud conversations, and I am not going to drive into the city to use a quiet study room. Plus I need them for distraction study music, to keep me more focused on my studies. I also need a mouse, the tracking pad, I can never get the hang of, since I been using a mouse since they were introduced in the 90s. I still use a lot of keyboard shortcuts. My mouse is thankfully Bluetooth. My external hard disk and cable. Then my EDC weeks goes into my purse, and my Cousin if it will fit, my headphones, my medications, my otter pencil stand. The rest goes into a zippered recycled plastic tote I get from a shop called The Sisters Greene. If I take another tote on large backpack days, it is a recycled plastic shopping bag with lunch, drinks, etc in it.
It depends what I have planned for the time away from home, if it is just meetings it is the sleeve, and purse combo, with the zippered tote. If it is I am leaving to study all day, it is the large backpack and crossbody purse. Needless to say I bring the kitchen sink, because 1. I do not like to pay for smaller drinks at Uni, so I bring bigger bottles. I tried transferring my cola zero into 0.5 bottles and Hydra Flasks, they lose their fizz too quickly, or explode when I open the latter. All the rest is in case I need it, but do not want to see it stuff, that litters the bottom of my zippered tote. Oh and a spare lock if I need to lock up my belongings while I go get lunch, go for a walking break, or any other time spent away from my valuables.
My laptop does not have one of those places to insert a cable lock into.

👜 the leather on your bag looks beautiful! I started leaving my laptop at work-I’m fortunate enough to have a backup computer at home if I need it-which has been a significant upgrade in my quality of life because I can carry less stuff back and forth. I just bring my Hobonichi cousin, wallet, key, phones, and earbuds which all fit into most of my medium sized purses and gives me options every day. :) It also makes me much more mobile if I want to walk all the way home or do something after work. I keep an A6 Stalogy at work in case I just need blank pages to write in, and also a planner I use exclusively for management purposes, and my other notebooks stay at home so I can update them at the end of the day.

That is a gorgeous bag! I work from home most of the time and use an A5 planner with a Moterm cover, so it is very bulky. I go into the office one day a week and bring my laptop and files in a rolling laptop case, and then I carry a giant totebag similar to yours (size/shape) with my planner, a journal, makeup pouch, and pen case. I don't use stickers much in my planner, so I just have a few sheets that fit in the cover pockets. Also a water bottle, keys, and wallet. My bag weighs a ton, so I stick the handle of my rollerbag through the shoulder straps, so I can wheel it around on top of my laptop case. I always look like I'm about to board an airplane! I could probably leave my planner at home because I don't use it much for work, but I like having it with me, so I haul it anyway. When I come home, I transfer the essentials (wallet, keys, phone, makeup pouch, keys, etc. into a small cross-body bag that I use for everyday and running errands. The planner lives at my desk, and I have a small pocket size notebook and monthly planner for when I need to jot down notes or appointments, then I transfer those to my main planner later. I keep energy drinks, snacks, and high-end pens and notepads in my desk at work, but may have to switch that up because I might have to start desk-sharing since I telework so much. I might have to add a backpack with nothing but desk supplies when that happens!

👜 I carry a planner, planner stickers, pencil pouch, epi pen, a small personal hygiene kit.
I use the EC planner tote. I love the strap on it and thought you could switch your bag strap for one of those straps. I do wish the EC planner tote was a little bigger like yours though.

Since the begining of the pandemic, I've been working from home, so the things I carry with me have changed a lot. Now, when I have to go out and I plan to use my laptop, I carry it, my planner, keys, wallet, a cosmetics bag, a tin with a portable battery and a cable to charge my phone, phone, book and, if there's space, my journal.

I'm in flux! Normally I'm a backpack kind of person, but depending on how Day Job stuff goes I might get some kind of tote. I looooove variety though so it changes based on my mood and outfit. 👜As far as stationery carry: I usually leave the house with my Traveler's Notebook, and if I have the space I'll bring my hobonichi cousin in its Galen Leather case. The Galen Leather has a spot for my pens and stickers, so I usually just have to grab that

🎒i want to be a tote work gal cause it's cute but backpack is just easier on my body day to day & location to location lol i use the baggallini soho backpack in black nylon. looks sleek enough but also durable & it has enough pockets to keep me organized. i have to dedicate one entire large pocket to just tech related items, it's so annoying to carry charging cords lol planner wise, it's two hobo weeks, an undated a5 daily passion planner, and an a5 discbound. AND i keep a separate small crossbody bag for things like phone, wallet, keys, etc. that way if I have to leave work to just run a small errand i've got things condensed already. love the vid!

I really enjoy your videos and content!! I still feel new to the “current” planner explosion era. I was an old-school functional pen-only, Franklin planner for years, since my 1st year out of under-grad. My 1st “real” job supplied these planners, along with training in how to use them, and I never turned back. In 2020 I stumbled into the yt planner community and now I’m obsessed. But there’s SO many options! I tried EC in 2019 & 2020, then HP 2021 & 2022, now 2023 I have hobonichi cousin (❤) and HP, and multiple notebooks, and pens, and highlighters, washi, and stickers, and inserts, tape, stencils, 😂😂😂 I need help!! 😂 Anyway, your video helps me decide where I can narrow down what I should take with when on the go. I work from home but travel a ton… and almost always work when traveling. Plus I’ve been incorporating my planners with my personal life and goals too (this is new for me). So… I usually carry the lv graceful, a targas backpack, or a briggs&riley rolly bag. I love each one so much, but really need to minimize!!
And, all of that to ask, Do you recall where you found the pencil case? 😅 Thanks again for your content!

🎒Im currently trying to find the perfect bag for my laptop and planner supplies. I like a backpack for balance, but also don't want to look like a big child going into my corporate space. lol. I love my Calpak, but it needs to be a touch wider for my supplies.

I work primarily from home since 2020, although I don't have the luxury of space as my desk is a DISASTER. ;) When I'm working from the office, I use a Montage backpack made of cork leather, in a gorgeous deep teal colour. It also has a strap that converts to cross-body, which is perfect for me. I usually carry: 1. wallet. 2. sunglasses. 3. phone and airpods. 4. work planner (a wonderland222 a5 with a midori clear cover on it) and a couple of pens. 5. small pouch (a repurposed pencilcase) with lip balm, painkillers, tissues, emergency feminine hygiene products, bandaids, nail file, and a mini perfume atomiser. 6. a small pile of sugar-free candy swimming around loose at the bottom of the bag. 7. a supercompact umbrella and supercompact fold-up shopping bag. And there's a compartment on the back of it for my laptop, and I sometimes slide my iPad in there as well. My work planner is highly functional -- I do use a few stickers mostly so I can reposition meetings when they're inevitably rescheduled, but I don't tend to take supplies like that with me. I usually just carry a gel pen for the weekly planning, and a fountain pen for notetaking in the dailies.
Edit: oh, I also carry a small Bellroy tech pouch with my laptop charger, bluetooth mouse, a few different cables and dongles, a thumb drive and an external phone battery pack. I use a Macbook Pro as well so the charger and mouse take very little space, and the full tech pouch would be smaller than your planner + moterm bundle I think.
