Vouge needs to stop putting a filter in these beauty secrets. Its so bad tht the celebrity will get hate over it just cuz the vouge team covers it up. In this vid for example, the blurring effect is so prominent tht she looks like shes almost just rubbing her face with nothing most of the time. Like the celebrities and us want to show the real deal. The world is trying to shift to a more accepting and diverse beauty standard. Please encourage this too Vouge.

Wow I had no idea video filters were used. Knew that the vids, of course, would have the most flattering lighting possible, which is fine, a little edit of a pimple that would any other day not be there - pushing it but fine , but filters just make it a nope. Idk if the celebrities actually want to show us the "real deal" like you said lol; they're definitely in on it. It's not like they haven't seen Beauty Secrets video done by others.
Edit: The more I watch it, I think that she might have also used an inferior camera. Not saying that there's no filter, but the surroundings are grainy and not as sharp. I watched a few other Beauty Secrets vids and the surroundings appear sharper (I know that focus depends on depth, which varies in each vid, but still). Who knows, could be the entire video was blurred as to hide that fact that her face was blurred...
@@paelie true. If they were really advocating for "natural beauty" and blah blah, they would make sure that no filters were used in their videos.
@@paelie I think you can see the filter around 7:35 when she's putting on her eyebrow makeup. You can see the bright blurring filter and then it flickers out and you can see the texture above her eyebrows on her forehead.

@@idkbrosstudios8446 oh Kristen has unbelievable skin! 😭♥️ she’s so beautiful! But there is absolutely at least a blurring effect on the video. You can see it as she is applying product or you can see it fade in and out if she moves her face a little too much for the filter to stay on her face.
@@idkbrosstudios8446 I think you can really tell when she's putting on her eyebrow makeup. Around 7:35. At certain points you can see the super bright, blurring filter. At other points you can see she has some texture on her forehead above her eyebrows. I feel like @stephanielange would be able to spot the filter glitches like a pro since that's her thing.
Yeah there’s a filter I’m watching it in the highest quality possible 1080p and I still can’t see any texture! Definitely a blurry or smoothing filter is used so unnecessary

I love that she mentioned she has eczema, it's so honest. People always talk about "breakouts" but never something that is more embarrassing or disfiguring like eczema.
Eczema is quite common, but appearently some ppl have more serious eczema problem, just like mild acne and cystic acne

She rinses the coconut oil properly to where that is a non issue. She also mentions having eczema which coconut oil is wonderful for. It’s the abrasive dirty Clarisonic device she’s using that I would bet is causing her breakouts. That thing looked absolutely filthy. And also so so so damaging ESPECIALLY for people with eczema…
Not to mention the brush that can be abrasive and isn’t for everyone!! She’s exfoliating her skin daily with that, some people may tolerate it, some may not. She complains of pimples and redness, so safe to assume she may not.

This is similar to how I do my makeup! Healthy skin first with a little bit of makeup to even and smooth it all out. I look like myself with or without makeup (better with, obviously). But I never want to feel like an unrecognizable alien without makeup.
