the "just enjoy it" bit around 50 minutes is also how you just actually get good at stuff
If you aren't doing you'll never get conventionally good, and everyone starts conventionally awful, so if fun is being had and you're thinking things through that's all it takes. Your own performance doesn't matter and neither does anyone else's as long as you're performing well enough to enjoy what you're doing. It's the same reason one of the first things I do in most games is unbind the scoreboard and why I recommend the same to other people.
